We had a great time at The Shores of Panama. Enjoyed the tiki hut. The pool area has plenty of space for all of the guests, pool was clean and the beach was close. It was nice that Pineapple Willies was so close to the codo.

The overall experience was okay The thing that upset us was when we turned the bedding back on the full size bed there was blood in three spots (not cool) on the top pillow. Most upsetting.

This is no resort. This is an old, dingy hotel with the worst customer service ever. Pool is cloudy. Hallways are dirty and everywhere smells like smoke. The private owner of our room sold the unit a week before our trip and said they couldn’t accommodate us. We got rebooked into another privately owned room. coffee maker broken, door broken, thermostat fell off the wall. Parking is an absolute nightmare. The elevators are a joke. No ventilation and you wait at least 15 minutes. Then another 15 minutes for it to stop at every level. View is beautiful but beach is so crowded and dirty. Smells like smoke everywhere. It’s just a trashy location. People bring speakers to the pool and blast them. If you’re looking for a quieter chill spot this is not it at all.

There was plenty to do on the property. It’s in walking distance of stores and restaurants. What I didn’t like it got a little rowdy and loud a couple of nights. But other than that, everything was great.

Our room was amazing. The pools and fitness center were fantastic. Food and beverages were top notch. The amount of underage partying was astounding. We could not use the pools, hot tub, or walk the beach at night because of the drinking, fighting, craziness. The resort staff tried to contain it but beach patrol was called in multiple times. Loud music and yelling plus throwing things from the balconies at all hours of the night was ridiculous. We could not sit on our balcony and enjoy the scenery and peace bc of the loud music and dirty dancing and smoking weed on the majority of balconies. We had to keep our kids inside bc of all the craziness day and night. We travel to Panama yearly and We will never stay at this resort again.

The Unit 2329 was not clean the floors were dirty, and the bathtubs were nasty. Roaches were all over the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds need new mattresses. The TV's were going in and out. Had to call about the TV's, Roaches over and over.

When we showed up at the property it was not ready for us at all there were holes in the wall leaking on the walls mold on the shower head and curtains. There were also dirty dishes, a broken bed leg, the bunk beds were unsafe, and a whole bunch of other things. Even though all this was wrong with the room the communication was amazing I do wish I got a bigger refund for the fact that maintenance was in our room 3 days in a row fixing all the issues.

Off to a bad start

Got to the room on Sunday afternoon at 4:40 pm and did not have the wristbands or parking pass. So I called and waited 3 hours and then was told I had to go pick up the Wristband and parking pass at a different location while on the way I was in a car accident so was not a great start to the vacation.

Not adequate linens for the amount of beds. Dirty bathrooms. Broken items in kitchen. Stains on curtains. Windows half washed. Resort was not being properly ran. Security along with all other dtaff was rude. Security was intimidating and scary. Did not feel safe at all.

We always have a great time at Shores of Panama. The location is great, it’s right next door to pineapple Willy’s with a Walmart just across the block for groceries and staples. Parking might be difficult if you have a large suv. This condo is ocean facing. The balcony is great for morning coffee.

Parking garage is very tight and hard to maneuver. Long walk from garage to room. Condo was not as clean as it should’ve been.

Prison

Room was beautiful. Hotel is like a prison. Guards at every entrance and the parking garages. Parking garage is built for a small car and only one car per room. Others have to park 2 miles away in a paid overflow lot. Guards will not let you in garage at all of sticker is not properly displayed. Our parking space was convenient to our room so that was nice.
