The only thing I did not enjoy about my stay was the construction on the road in front of the hotel. And there’s nothing that the facility could have done about that. It just made it hard to get in and out of the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. My room was clean. The staff was courteous. Breakfast was OK.

PROS: Easy to find and access despite road construction. Check-in staff were quick and friendly Our room was spacious and had all expected working amenities. The bathroom was exceptionally large. Behind the hotel is a large sports complex. CONS: The median in the parking lot has no walk through areas so you must either walk through the shrubbery and the pine straw or walk all the way around it if you park on the side not closest to the entrance. We did not unload all of our luggage upon check-in and ended up dragging our heaviest bag through wet straw over the median rather than walk with it all the way around the parking lot. The AC kicks off frequently even if it’s not to desired temp yet and the fan setting is set to on. Due to this, the living area (1 bed suite), did not cool down as quickly, and the lack of noise to drown out a quiet bedroom meant I had to use a noise app to sleep. There were not enough linens for the pull out couch and the mattress was crappy, thin, and springy. WiFi is free, but you must create a bonvoy acct to use it. At 8AM front desk called to tell us the people below us had a noise complaint: “running across the floor”. Seems like a hotel problem-floors/walls too thin and 8am is well past quiet hours. You have to physically check out with cards in hand or you’ll be charged up to $1800 if you don’t—not a very modern practice.

I didn't like the fact that the night clerk would not allow my daughter to check into her room without paying an incidental fee with a credit card. Not everyone carries credit cards with them while they are on a trip especially if the room has already been paid for ahead of time. She did not care that my daughter and grandson had to drive to stay with relatives until we could get the situation resolved the next day which meant that was very unsafe for her at night time with a small child. I don't plan on ever making reservations with this hotel again make sure you have a credit card so you can pay a deposit for any incidental fees that you may happen to need to pay before you leave. My room was paid for through my checking account two days prior to our arrival. They already had my money didn't care if I like their service or not.

Comfortable Stay

The pool was perfect for the kids to swim in and enjoy. The breakfast was fine. We wish there were vegetarian or turkey sausage options. We also usually enjoy waffle stations on our trips. But overall, it was fine.
