Everything has been fantastic for this trip from check-in, to the rooms, breakfast and the pool. I’d say the best was breakfast buffet every morning had the basics but good, quality food and served until 10:30. All the staff have been very friendly. Surprisingly the pool was empty the day I used it and was a beautiful view of the city with a bar.

Every trip and every experience is different, even if one returns to the same hotel again based on previous experience. Then one gets disappointed because it didn’t match the experience from the first time. I’m afraid this will be one of those times. Why? Because my experience at Megapolis was phenomenal. I’m afraid to return here in the future because it won’t be like the first time. Amazing breakfast buffet (those complaining about getting same thing probably showed up after 9am not when it first opens for service, more variety when they start the morning, by end of shift they are probably scrounging just to put things on the buffet line, that’s just how it works when it comes to buffets, so show up early or get the same thing you got the morning before.) Location was perfect and hotel itself connected to mall and Hard Rock Cafe. Only drawback is bar closes too early and also their sky bar was temporarily closed. Cielo was out-freaking-standing. Ended up eating there for three of my meals. But the winning part of the experience was that I obviously must have been upgraded to a suite. Booked a Deluxe King but since I checked in late they probably didn’t have any of these available. They didn’t say anything about me being upgraded, I ended up finding out on my own because a buddy who also checked into the same hotel described their room. Yeah I scored big time. Sometimes arriving late can work to your favor. The property itself is so massive it’s overwhelming.

Luxurious location im the heart of Panama. The receptionist was not friendly and I waited to be attended while she was clearly chatting on her cellphone, shw seemed unhappy to work there. Stfg needs to be friendly and approachable, understanding that we depend on them foe assistance.
