Since we used travelocity they treated us poorly. Made us wait for over an hour while checking in other guests, they kept telling ux they had to validate our room. Room stunk of mold so much caused a headache. They changed our room. Room shade fell off the wall. Overall run down hotel not worth the money. Pictures are nothing like the rooms.Avoid if possible

Great place to stop for a couple days. Room is on the smaller side, there are three of us. But it spotless. The common room upstairs is fantastic, a space you can chill, do a bit of work or even cook your meal.

Stars given only for location and for the nice teenaged receptionist at arrival. 1) The first room I was given was dirty. As in, had not been cleaned at all: dirty towels balled on the floor, hair in the sink, trash overflowing, bed unmade. I was switched to a ground-level room for the first night, very noisy. 2) The water shut off on day 3, a staffer shrugged and said “it happens” and did not offer any help with my needs. (A manager later told me the water should be back in 1/2 hour, it was) 3) everyone in the neighborhood knows the key code for the lobby entrance; the front desk is often unattended: poor security. 4) no elevator and all rooms are up or down stairs; no dedicated bellman.

The room was nice, once we had running water all was good. Lost power in the early evening but it came back on relatively quickly. There was an all night celebration going on down the street so lots of noise but otherwise a very nice hotel!

Tbh it is hard to rate because the staff and location were great. The problem that is easily solved by black out curtains almost ruined the time we spent there. We were in room 4 which is on the corner with a huge and bright street light shining directly at you all night. Additionally the windows are at street level so everyone standing on the corner waiting for taxis etc is literally at eye level with you inside the room. The curtains are see through and don’t quite stretch enough to cover the middle and both ends. You have to decide if you want a gap in the middle or on the ends. The room was so bright we had to put towels up over the curtains to try to cut the direct light. Even that did not stop the room from being daylight bright all night. For us we are out all day and the only reason to have a hotel is for sleeping so this was really bad. Invest in black out curtains and I’m sure your guests will give you a most excellent ratings.

1st thing the pickup taxi did not arrive at airport. They got the dates completely wrong. 2nd The bathroom was outside the bedroom. 3rd The aircon didn’t work but they did fix it for the 2nd night. It’s more of a hostel than a hotel. Location is good.

Staff is great and all speak English. No fridges in the room but there is a big community fridge. The floor in the room was not in the next shape. All else was good.

My Stay there was poor. 1) no elevator 61 steps from the front door to room 21. I am 71yrs old that was not easy. The bath room sink the water control was loose and not secure. this room has three lights all tied together. no reading lamp. you have to get up to cut the light. I requested cleaning one day the maid did nothing she did not change the sheet or pick trash or clean the dishes this was the worst stay ever.

Well I ended up cancelling my trip, I contacted the hotel 36 hrs before my check in to request a refund, and they said NO. Obvi when I go back to Panama i wont be staying there, im glad I only paid $36 for the night, and used my expedia points (which I wont get back) just bc they didnt want to issue a refund.

The lights in the room were insufficient. There was no light near the entry door, so you had to either turn on the light inside the bathroom or go near the beds where the only 2 lights were located. And those 2 lights were pendant lights which didn't even make enough light to light up the room.
