THIS HOTEL IT'S A GREAT FOR A FIRST STOP WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO SITUATE YOUR SELF AND THEN GO EXPLORE MORE OF THE COUNTRY .

Hotel was clean and location was excellent. It was a block away from the Hop on Hop off bus station. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even though not all spoke english, we had no troubles communicating plus gave us opportunity to brush up on our spanish. Walking distance to the Mercado de Mariscos which had a bunch of awesome seafood outdoor restaurants

MY EXPERIENCE WAS POOR THE FIRTS ROOM WAS DIRTY, FOUND OLD MOLD BREAD,AND PEANUTS BUTTER IN ONE OF THE DRAW,DIRTY CUP .... THEY MOVE ME OUT OF THAT ROOM AND IN THE 2 ROMM THE AC DID NOT WORK ,I WAS MOVE TO A 3 ROMM ,, WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE,

It was difficult to find the address based on what they have in the internet. It was a good experience.

It is quite average, two star max, restaurant staff overwhelmed with only 4 clients... the airport shuttle charges extra after 6 PM which is not stated in the website, had to pay $30 each way! Not worth it unless you are travelling in a group maybe for the price, but still pricey for the lack of service...

MY CELLPHONE, T-SHIRTS AND MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM MY ROOM...POOR SERVICE,,, NOTHING HAPPENED....AWFULL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.....DONT GO THERE,,,PLEASE,,DONT....BAD NEIGHBORHOD

The hotel is in a very convenient location, very easy to take taxis and be arround the city, the area is not that bad as other customers reviews, Is like any other city in the world, You just have to be carefull, the hotel staff is helpfull and polite, breakfast is ok if You just need a cup of coffe. In general for one or two days the bahia suites its ok, for a longer stays if Your budget let You, preffer to stay in other hotels near via espana.

Not recommended. 1st – none of the staff know the passwords for the wireless, so NO INTERNET! Bad part of town – constant car alarms. Rooms really threadbare, with poor mattresses.

Not bad for what yoy pay, but location is not good..do not go out at night that's what we were told by a taxi driver.

terrible location. no english speakers on the staff. restaurant quite limited & has a poor attitude. we were robbed on the street near the hotel. spent 7 hours with the police with no good results. this hotel not recommended.

It was ok, nothing Fancy but it was a clean and comfortable room .........and the girls from front desk and the lady at the restaurant for the included breakfast buffet were really nice, I was pleased with this selection.

I did not get such a good impresion in the following:, from my stand point if i have to take the plane at 7 am and i have my breakfast paid you should be able to accomodate my breakfast for the day before i leave, because it wasn´t my fault i had to go early, so i think you are to simple by just saying sorry! remember that without customers you could no be a Hotel, besides there's to much competition nowadays.

First, if you booked online bring a printout of your receipt. The want a voucher or verification of payment. That is their system so make sure you print out a copy and bring it with you. The hotel has fast, strong and reliable Wi-Fi. The air conditioning was a small wall unit under the window. There was a small but nice pool on the roof with nice views. The roof also had a nice small restaurant/bar like a small café. The food was good and reasonable priced as were the beers. The views were nice. The complimentary breakfast varied slightly by day. It had scrambled eggs, diced hot dogs in sauce, liver and onions, cereal, some various corn meal biscuits, toast, coffee, juice. The hallways have no air conditioning. The hallway windows may or may not be open for open air flow. The furnishings and linens are a bit older but adequate. There were noticeable spot patches and paint touch ups on the walls. In my room the cold water for both the sink and shower had two levels of flow – off and fire hose. When the knob is turned on at first produces no water until instantly it goes to full force. The shower head seemed to be missing a piece such that the water did not spray but came out in a single stream. I managed to adapt to it. The hot water was good and hot. The location is in a business area. It gets busy with both foot and car traffic around 5 am until very late in the night. Walking away from the shoreline takes you to some small street side restaurants that locals visit and are very cheap, as well as some street side shops and Pharmacia. Walking south to the shore line takes you to Balboa Avenida and across the streets is a nice walking/bike path along the water front. To get to fine dining, the Old City, Casco Viejo, to fine dining or other tourist sights you will need transportation by vehicle. The hotel has 24 hour security at the front door and they will hail a taxi for you. If you meet a taxi driver you like, get their number and they meet all your taxi needs for your stay. I did not like the phone system. All my outgoing calls had to go through the front desk. The daytime receptionist speaks English but not the night desk person. The daytime receptionist will book and arrange excursion tours for you – jungle, monkeys, canal, beach whatever.

The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop view, pool and restaurant. Although the food is not the best, they have lots of choices. But is not the best quality cooking. But the terrace has a nice view and is romantic enough to have a drink or a meal at sunset or evening The room is very basic and maybe the matresses are old or not sure what it is but the sheets also looked old. The bed never felt very clean, even though they did clean it daily... ...I found a couple of ants running around the sheets. The neighborhood is not the best but is close to everything. You should take a taxi if you want to go out at night. During the day you can take a walk towards the avenida balboa walkway. Is only a couple of blocks away and there is opportunity of skating, cicling or just walking and sitting next to the ocean. The only problem is that the beaches from Panama city are some of the ugliest I have ever seen. Muddy and dark. Not for swimming. But ok enough to have a short walk. I would recommend the hotel if you are just passing by for a couple of days and don't want to pay too much. The staff had all sorts. Some were nice some not so much.

The Bahia suite hotel was a nice surprise, for a big hotel the employees take good care of you. The location is good (well situaded) but I will recommand people to use taxi and do not walk by themselve at night. The room was ok (can all miror can be more clean..)the restaurant is on the terasse is ok, but good service.

Not good enough for what i was charged. Actually they gave us a simple room and not what we booked. They said "that´s what you get for that price". They blamed [...]for overcharging rooms, and underdelivering what we had paid for.

decent location, nice ocean view. No problems at check-in, clean but basic room, the a/c unit a little noisy. The breakfast is not worth getting up for, but for $55/night you can't really expect to get breakfast included in the first place. Free WiFi on the top floor restaurant was nice, but it'd be great to have it in the room as an option, even if there is an extra charge.

would have been nice to have a listing of bars and discoteques. have staff that speak english
