So I want to start this by saying I have never once left a bad review for any place I’ve ever vacationed in. When we arrived, we realized the balcony on the unit is closed and tarped over. We couldn’t see outside and there was patio furniture sitting stacked in our living room. The actual condominium itself is undergoing extensive renovations, so walking to the beach was hard. The front desk informed us they’ve been doing this work on the building for 4 years. The entire condo is a construction site — we walked under a trail of dark, hanging scaffolding to get to the beach. Jagged nails on the walkway, every outside pool has been drained. All restaurants inside the condo are shut down. There were men working directly at our window, jackhammering to such a degree that it woke both of my granddaughters during their naps (they are babies.) Inside the unit, there were a total of 6 forks to use as utensils, although the booking was listed to be great for up to 10 people. Needless to say, this is a small example of how badly the kitchen was understocked. If you choose to book this unit, read the fine print. Read every word closely and imagine the worst. We did not and regret it. We wanted to immediately go somewhere else and get a refund but were refused this courtesy. We will absolutely never book from this host/condo again and it has taught us a hard lesson. We still paid a lot of money for this trip and couldn’t be more disappointed.
