Peaceful retreat!

Great house and location within Seacrest. Direct access to the pool from our back door was perfect. The amenities within the community are great with private access to the beach.

The house was nicely kept and arranged and conveniently located just a brief walk from the beach with the pool literally outside our backyard gate. We would definitely stay here again.

A week at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having rented through Benchmark for several years, we expected a quality rental unit and we got it. Of course anything adjacent to a pool and near the ocean is not going to be perfect. There will be things like some green stuff in cracks on wooden rails, some wear on things, etc., but this place was perfect for 2 grandparents, all 3 of their children and their significant other (6), and 3 grandkids ranging in age from 2 to 10. The pool was right out the backdoor. Starbucks and other places were 2 blocks away. The property description was accurate. Benchmark was very responsive and dealt with a non-issue very professionally. We would recommend this place AND renting bikes from some place.

We were very pleased with this property. Lots of space ans could easily accommodate 2 families. Well represented in pics. Adequately stocked kitchen for cooking for large family. Great community for families. Lots of stuff within walking distance. We felt very safe. Only suggestion would be to replace mattress in master suite on main level. It was very saggy and uncomfortable. Also, the tub/shower in main was hard to get in and out of. This could be a real safety issue for older folks that I would assume would want the main floor to avoid stairs.

Fabulous house, A tricky pool

The house was incredible! Great size living room and kitchen/dining area. Perfect for multiple families. All the king bedroom closets were big enough for cribs! Our only issue with the house was there were not enough blankets for the pull out couch upstairs but the management company brought some the next day! Now the pool was a nightmare. We rented this house because we have lots of little kids and wanted to utilize the pool daily. However, It was closed for cleaning 4 of our 7 days due to someone vomiting or pooping. It was terrible. But the house is great! And I would still recommend to stay here, we just had some bad luck.

Wonderful Location!

The house, location, and pool are exactly as advertised! This house checked all the boxes with what we were looking for in a summer vacation home. We could walk or ride the tram to the beach, the pool was directly behind the house, and the neighborhood was mostly filled with families. The house was clean and well taken care of for the most part. Some minor issues with the house did occur, but the management company took care of them promptly. The only problem that bothered me was the condition of the grill. It needed to be replaced a long time ago. We got a replacement grill but it was smaller and had been used before. Not that this issue is a deal breaker, but I love to grill and it's one of my must-have items when looking for a rental. Overall, this property is fantastic and I definitely recommend this to family and friends.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was fine but that is not how I ever want to describe a vacation. The location is great with the pool at the back door and an easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The house is in need of some serious attention. The living room furniture is poor quality with stained slipcovers. The kitchen is stocked with useless items and the things we did use had to be rewashed first. The mattresses were way too soft where you would sink down and wake up with a sore back. The wireless internet did not work upon arrival and didn’t get fixed until day three, and took my constantly staying on top of the issue.

Wonderful House...Crowded Beach

The house was perfect for our group of two families of four: two master bedrooms for the parents, a Jack-n-Jill for two siblings, and an upstairs retreat with a bunk bed and full bath for the other two siblings. The location on the pool was ideal, and that resort style pool has kept us coming back to Seacrest for eight years running. The back patio was a little tight for all eight of us, but we made it work. Overall, we loved the house so much that we already rebooked! Out of all of our trips to Seacrest Beach, this is our first time rebooking the same house. The biggest downside of Seacrest Beach is the crowded beach (at least in July), and it seems to get a little worse each year. This year the private umbrella/chair company “owned” about 80% of the beach (for chairs that went largely unused) leaving only a small area for the rest of Seacrest goers who don’t want to pay exorbitant chair rental rates. We managed to squeeze in tight each day at the beach, usually squeezing in between chairs that were planted at sunrise to stake territory only to then sit empty for hours on end. The HOA’s agreement allowing the private rental company to occupy the majority of the beach is extremely frustrating for renters. We’re giving it one more chance, but if the beach crowd situation is worse next year, we’ll be looking for somewhere else to stay along 30A for future trips. In short, the house itself is fantastic, the pool never disappoints and keeps us coming back, and the property manager is excellent! But the crowded beach in July and the HOA’s agreement with the chair rental company gets more disappointing each year.

Beautiful home and great location!

Overall this was a great house! The location was perfect - lots to do in the area that was within walking or biking distance. We had 8 people in our group and the house was more than adequate for our group. My only suggestions would be for the owners to add more silverware and another outside garbage can. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is in the perfect spot on the pool and close to the beach access. The home was well appointed inside with just about everything you could need. The house was very clean when we arrived and the property manager was extremely helpful and responsive. The only downsides, which we talked with the management company about but were informed those were owner issues and our comments could not be passed along for some reason. The rear patio is need of some help, it was covered in weeds and overgrown plants. The patio furniture was also rusted to point where you could not sit on it with out it staining your clothing. The grill also needs to be replaced as it only partially works. The mattress in the 1st floor master also needs to be replaced. These did not have a big factor in our stay and I would still highly recommend this home. We had a fantastic family vacation staying here

A couple of suggestions: Outdoor furniture needs to be replaced or at least new cushions. Bedrooms upstairs need full length mirrors. Tub/shower in downstair bath is very deep and hard to step in and out of. The Real McCoy is very well decorated and is fabulous and we would definitely stay there again.

Nice property at good location

The rental benefits from the pool location and isn’t far from the beach. The rental itself is situated directly behind the restrooms but still steps from the pool. The house itself is clean aside from the appearance of the white slip covers. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is stocked and clean. Outdoor furniture smells and the bathroom on the third floor had a cockroach. The pool is very pristine but strict with requirements for wristbands and no drinking in the pool without one hand on the side. Beach access was pretty easy to get to and not far to walk.

Poolside paradise

The house was spotless and inviting. The main level living and kitchen area became the hub for our group. The bedrooms were luxurious with their beautiful bedding and extremely comfortable mattresses. The top floor balcony will give you postcard worthy views! The additional ice-maker on the upper floor was extremely useful. We would love to come back to this home due to its size, nice furnishings, and proximity to the most amazing pool on 30A. We loved the outdoor seating areas, dining table, and pool/beach toys, and we found that having the outdoor shower was a simple way to clean up our beach toys after fun at Inlet Beach- the nearby public beach. (The private beach access that is granted by the neighborhood is just so over-crowded with beach rentals that there is no room to set up your own umbrella and chairs without being in someone else's space.) Our only negative aspects of our stay relate to cooking. Due to Covid, we cooked in most nights and we found that the oven was not fully operational- slow to heat and the broiler did not function. Also, the gas grill would only heat the front half of cooking surface so it took a little longer than expected to grill.
