Calypso Beach Resort East Tower – 1st floor Ocean Front Views 3 BR 2 BA condo is located directly on the beach 1/2 Block East of Pier Park. The closest resort to Frank Brown Park it is one of the newest resorts on the Gulf Coast. Enjoy breathtaking Ocean-Front views that will provide memories for a lifetime.

Master bedroom has king-size bed with direct access to the patio. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom offers a Twin over Full Size Bunk Beds. It sleeps 9 guests comfortably including a NEW Queen Sofa Sleeper. All 3 bedrooms have flat-screen LCD TV’s.

Relax by the sugar-white sands and crystalline waters of Panama City Beach, come stay and pamper yourself at our spacious 1300-square-foot newly decorated condo, right on the beach.

Enjoy the large balcony and straight out Ocean Front View overlooking close to 700 feet of sugar white beaches and emerald green water of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the Gorgeous Panoramic Views down the beach to the East and to the West is the City Fishing Pier. .

A large Tiki bar is between the two pools for a refreshing drink. A cardio-fitness facility and a secure gated parking garage for your use during your stay.

Beach view and 1st floor access was wonderful, however condos furniture, curtains, pillows were extremely dirty and even were showing wholes… closet door broken. kitchen area needs a complete over haul. We covered all furniture with extra sheets and made do. Owners need to invest in some updates…These places are expensive to rent and should be kept updated.

RENTERS BEWARE!!!Let me start by saying in no way do we expect perfection but in 30 years of going to PCB, this place was the worse ran/unclean place we’ve ever stayed. As soon as you walk in, all trim, floors, etc all dirty. Beds all had stains all over the sheets, the mattresses all looked like someone had stood on the bed and peed all over them. I spent the first half day of my vacation here cleaning what was a “cleaned” unit. Not to mention, no access to anything to clean with so I spent 80 as well to get mop, broom, cleaning supplies etc. We then figure out after getting our groceries that the refrigerator wasn’t working. So our food spoiled because after submitting 4 service requests with no response, I finally was able to talk to someone and they had no idea there was a request even submitted. We were told someone would come repair. We have no idea if anyone showed up because no notices of entry was left at any point but the fridge randomly started working shortly after so my assumption is someone came into our unit unannounced and fixed it. At no point did we get an apology or any kind of compensation offer for our food. Through our stay our fridge seemed to be ok until 2-3 nights before we left when we realized it wasn’t cold again and guess what, no one showed up to fix so we lost all fridge items again. The balcony furniture is 10 years past its prime, not to mention if you sit in them you’re staring at the top rail so the view is non existent. Terrible owners

We enjoyed our stay at this condo and loved the convenience of being on the ground floor. It made access so much easier, especially with kids and beach gear.That said, the condo could use some upkeep. The faucets need repairs, the shower curtains were moldy and should be replaced, and the sliding door in the master bedroom wouldn’t open—so we weren’t able to access the balcony that way. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the floors were dirty enough that we had to wear socks indoors.The issues were mild, and I didn’t reach out to the owner during our stay since we were on vacation and didn’t want to deal with “business.” I just think they’re things the owner should be aware of.Overall, the condo itself was comfortable, and we still enjoyed our time there. With a little attention to cleaning and repairs, this place could be great.

Location and beach best part of the trip. The view from the condo was stunning and convenient. Condo was clean. Some of the indoor and outdoor furniture can be upgraded and replaced. There was a broken, wooden chair from the dinette that could not be used.Resort security is strict. No towels can be left alone for a long period of time, unless someone is there and also no drinks in the pool or near pool. Also, they will close the pool for a long time if there is rain along with thunder. I get it if there is lightening, but if there’s no rain and only thunder along with sunny skies, then that to be is ridiculous.Overall, I would rate this stay a 8/10.

This property was not what we expected based off the listing. We did early check in, but found the dishes were not very clean, there were stains on the linens, hairs left around the unit, and no linens initially for the sofa bed. The bathroom had a shower curtain that was moldy and the sink in the bathroom did not drain well. The listing states a grill is available, however this resort does not have any grills available. There are very limited kitchen supplies and really no covered dishes to store leftover meals. The patio furniture is quite outdated and we were afraid it may break, meanwhile a chair at the kitchen table was actually broken. If you're wanting to do laundry it would be faster to air dry than to use the dryer. Overall, this was not a great experience, but the positive was the location to the pier and pier park.

1st floor condo

Being on first floor was biggest pro with not having to wait for elevators and easy access to pool and beach. Upon arriving to condo, we noticed condo wasn’t clean. Both bath tubs looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, hair on counter tops and in showers. Outdoor furniture could be updated to more modern and comfortable furniture. Last 4 years we’ve rented another condo on 14th floor, but decided to try 1st floor for access. Going forward, we may go back to staying in other room on 14th floor because the owner keeps it updated with furniture and is always extremely clean.

This property has the chance to be SO PERFECT! The first floor location is perfect for small children and multiple trips to the room! We paid for early check in, but unfortunately the room was not very clean upon arrival. The kitchen definitely needs to new items, as all items are glass and not child friendly. The pans are very used and scraped, and food residue was left on them when we went to use. Unfortunately, the Air conditioning went out for 2 days during our stay, which made it challenging to sleep and use the room at that time. The security at the condo was the most unfortunate part of the stay. Constantly asking to see wrist bands, asked if towels at the pool belonged to us if unattended (sometimes people run to use bathroom and can’t constantly be with their chair!!!). I understand the reasoning, but as a paying guest it was annoying to have to respond to this so frequently. The condo does not have ramp access to beach, which makes it challenging for those with beach wagons or need for handicap access.

This is my second year staying in this unit. Unit was clean, furnished with all the necessities and everything worked properly. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the beach which is steps away and pool is right in front of the room. Will definitely book this property again for next year!

25th Anniversary

We spent a week in our condo. Overall we were very pleased with it. The kitchen was well stocked. It was clean. The kitchen chairs were broke and missed matched and should be replaced but this MY opinion. I would definitely stay again.
