Very dirty hotel, full of bed bugs and hairs everywhere. We woke up full of bites from the bugs with bugs walking between our sheets. Some people from another room complained about the same. The Director didn't care about our complain he said in Pamplona all the hotels are full of bed bugs. In the end we wrote a complain and we are waiting for the answer, We had to throw all our clothes. Bad management, incompetent housekeepers and very bad attitude towards the client. This hotel is a zero. In my opinion it should have been 1 star. Many of the rooms are not renovated and when you make the reservation don't tell you. It's one of the most disgusting place I have ever been. In addition you can hear the people from other rooms, specially the ones upstairs.
Check in was the most fuss-free we have ever experienced! Really incredibly quick and efficient. We also were given a very nice, spacious room overlooking the park. (Can never figure out how room allocation is decided!) We strolled to the Citadel and old town quite easily from the hotel. The old town was buzzing and we enjoyed the very reasonably priced food and drink there. The gin and tonic at the hotel is also superb. We liked the hotel so much we decided to stay another night. Again no fuss to arrange this, and everything beautifully clean. We had a nice breakfast on one of the mornings. All staff are very pleasant. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for 2 nights during Sanfermines and it was fine for that, but it felt like a business hotel and not a vacation location. Based on other reviews, we thought it would be about a 20-25 minute walk to the center of Pamplona. It is more like a 30 minute walk (we are NYers who are used to walking). The breakfast, which is not included is mediocre, at best. The front desk had a hard time recommending a restaurant in the area for dinner and eventually recommended a place where we ate the worst meal we had while in Spain. On the plus side, parking is under the hotel and the rooms are large (by European standards) and it was surprisingly quiet, even during the Running of the Bulls.
We stayed here while at the bull run for 3 nights. 20 minute walk to all the action. Friendly staff & parking in hotel for 15 euro per day or out side on the road were plenty of spaces for 8 euro a day. Friendly helpful staff & rooms nice & clean. When San Fermin is on you won't spend much time in the hotel!
Excellent Location - Easy Walk to the Old part of town for the festivities of San Fermin. Only a 15 min walk or 5 min by Taxi (or the #4 bus). Room is a good size, very nice bathroom - all new looking. Staff very friendly and even speaks some english. Mattress pretty stiff, but good pillows. AC didn't work very well though, but they don't use much AC here... They do have a great work spot on the 2nd floor - WiFi free and high speed. Small restaurant - cafe off lobby. Park directly across the main entrance for 8 Euros/day or in their garage for 15 Euros per day
We stayed here for San fermin - hotel was great .Hard to give a true report for a stay at this time of year ! ... However the staff where very helpful .I got fresh towels when i requested them ,as we came back to the room at all times of the day , due to the fiesta. even thou the hotel was fully booked.! . Room was a good size .Location a nice 20 min walk to the old town . Some nice bars/cafe/ resturants very near hotel and on the main walk in to town. Parking ok , we got on a meter for 8.70 euro for 24 hrs ?
Clean room, small but comfortable. Maybe too small beds and too soft mattress. Clean bathroom. I paid about 75 euro for a double including parking. Far from downtown but just in front of a nice and bug green park.
I came this week for a meeting. The hotel is close from the airport. The staff was nice and gently. The room was clean. The bathroom was ok, although there was a shampoo/gel mix, no comb. The breakfast was ok, but being a 4 stars I think it should be better
This is my third stay at the hotel and it has much to commend it but it could also improve a couple of things. My experience with the food has always been favourable. Love the variety of savories, bakery and fruit. The evening meals are also very tasty with a reasonable selection of menu items. Meal are reasonably priced but no bargain. We arrived Saturday night and after a long flight had to wait quite a while to be served as the dining area seemed understaffed. Staff are very pleasant but it is obvious that English is a bit of a struggle for many. The hotel environment and amenities are spotless and most of the service was excellent. Room service staff twice forgot to replace the soap which was a bit annoying. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room and we couldn't get an electric jug from the concierge. No ironing facilities except for a trouser press that takes ages to warm up for use. Overall, the hotel is best for single business travelers rather than couples or families. The hotel is over the road from the beautiful Yamaguchi park which is great for walks.
Stayed at this hotel for one night and the food was terrible. The paella tasted like a cheap risotto and the desert was a sour lemon drink. The main meal tasted like cheap bistro food. The facilities were nice but the staff service was also poor. Would not recommend.
