Its a lovely hidden gem and very quiet however there is loose wires in the room & the stairs in the economy double room just dont feel safe. There needs to be a 2nd railing at the other side of the stairs or a railing at the end of the bed. It felt unsafe & wobbly. It's nice that they use the original old doors to the room but it didnt close properly and there was a big gap, feeling like it wasn't 100% private. However, its a lovely building, host was nice but would book a different room next time due to the stairs in the room & door.

Only stayed one night, but the greeting was spot on. Check in super fast and easy, room was very clean and look very modern. Air con worked a dream. Remember it’s a guest house so don’t expect hotel vibes and check in.

Beautiful property renovated sympathetically, the owners were hugely helpful and went out of their way to assist. Of note, there are a number of steep stairs to the property and the original lock on the room door was lovely but fiddly. I never usually give a top rating but i really thought this place was superb and would gladly return as it was outstanding

Amazing experience at the Dog Admiral from the help getting our sizable bags upstairs to starting my morning with coffee and a soak. The space was beautifully appointed with gorgeous details and the staff was excellent!

Topp beliggenhet, og koselig leilighet/rom. Litt dårlig planløsning, da du kom rett inn på badet. Men romslig rom, med god garderobe, skuffer og skap- plass. Det var kaffe maskin og vannkoker også. Savnet kanskje litt en resepsjon/samlingspunkt/frukostplass. Dette kunne vært i fellesrom hvor alle beboere gikk igjennom. Nydelig rom.

Great location breakfast was excellent, delicious

Great location central to everything and safe to walk home late. The breakfast was excellent, delicious and way over expected. It is a guest house and therefore no reception or lounge area where you could stay/wait before going to the airport. But you can store your luggage there. The place is truly worth the price for a guest house
