The Springs is a quaint 50's spa throwback and as such it would rate higher because of the 3 mineral water pools. But as a hotel, it is lacking in some regards. Being there in the heat of the summer, the absence of air conditioning in the bathroom and no blinds or shade on the window allowed the temperature in the bathroom to approach triple digits. This meant that you finished a shower still sweating. The room itself is pretty small for $200 per night and absent any amenities aside from a mini-fridge. No telephones, TV, micro-wave etc. is in keeping with their focus on the "spa" nature of the place but again, as a hotel room, pretty minimalist. If you're looking for a spa, this place is probably for you. If you're looking for a 4+ star hotel, you will need to go to Palm Springs.

Excellant place to rest, very quite, small but very unique, 3 different pools with different temperatures, all filled with natural hot mineral water. Very adequate and healthy breakfast. Large and very clean rooms. We spent one night but left the property very happy. We are looking forward to go back again.

Thank you for your review. The SPRING was built in the mid 1950's and the rooms around the pool are not huge however it sounds like you stayed in one of our poolside kings. The Poolside King w/Kitchens give you more room with a full kitchen including gas stove and oven, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, sink and pots, pans, dishes, etc. And from there the rooms get larger as we do offer some diverse suites. Generally when available the PS King w/kitchens are only a little more expensive. Please try us again and call us if you have any questions about honing you into the best room. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay. Regards, Mike, Joe, Christina and the rest of the staff at The SPRING.
