I've been coming here for a few years. My kids and I my always have a blast and love just staying in the pool and hot tubs all day. It's a short drive to Joshua Tree, so we usually stay 2 days at the pool and 1 day hiking. It's a perfect weekend literally only 2 hour drive from LA. While the rooms could use a little upgrading, the stunning scenery and pools are amazing!

First, let me say I paid almost $200 for a pool side room….Our bathroom had mold growing on the tiles and on the walls. Right when we walked in my son wanted to leave saying it smelled very bad. The whole room smelled like mildew, the carpet was coming up off the floor. It would not be hard to do a few upgrades. It seemed like the room was not cleaned well. The area was also very run down and did not seem safe. There are better places to enjoy mineral springs. I will say the pool area was fun and many jacuzzis. I ave been to numerous mineral springs and know th state requires chlorine but it seeed high.

I gave them 5 stars because this hotel is the best value I have come across in years. Beautiful 7 pools to soak in odorless mineral hot spring water. Lovely Italian restraunt with great food. I don't know how they stay in business with the low prices they charge. wonderful full service spa. the best massage of my life. A little run down but I will put up with that for the affordability.

The room was good, but the bathroom needed a refesh. The same goes for the grounds and the pools - they are in need of a refresh. The hotel is not very accessible or wheelchair friendly. Not a single automatic door anywhere.

Overall, it’s got a lot of potential. All the pools were great but the hotel is very dated. One of bed was real comfortable and the other was springy- that would have not been good for someone with back issues. Restaurant was good. The staff was friendly. The front people were ok. We were trying to check in and they were helping someone over the phone at the same time so it felt rude. It was just okay.

The rooms are very dated, carpet is stained and room had a funky smell. Luckily we spent most of our time at Joshua Tree hiking and using the hot spring pools, which were very relaxing. The restaurant onsite had amazing food and prices and staff was friendly.

I love coming here every year. It’s unpretentious, inexpensive, and I can bring my kids to the pools. The rooms are rather dated 1980’s peach decor, mismatched furniture (some broken, faded, or/and worn down), and besides getting new blankets, nothing has been done to spruce it up. The water leaks in bathroom, hot water in the toilet, the pull out sofa bed was broken, and the hotel is oddly stingy on their towels which you have to use your bath towels for the pool then exchange them at front desk. That said, the hot spring pools are lovely- clean, hot, various sizes and temps, and even the pool was heated to 91 this year. Our kids had a blast. Always meet interesting people. Restaurant is nothing memorable but convenient. If you want a relaxing time don’t visit on the weekend- quietest times are Mondays and Tuesdays but even then we had people hot boxing the sauna with pot smoke. This year there was a lot more chlorine in the pools than I have ever experienced, bummer to smell it but understandable. Come for the super cheap rooms and great hot springs open 24 hrs and don’t look too hard at your carpet in the rooms.
