I don't want to leave a review because i am worried that this hotel will become overbooked and hard to get into again! Our stay was amazing - we loved our room. The cleaning staff went ABOVE and beyond when one of us was sick. I cannot say enough good things, this place was soooo cute. Thank you to all the "Montys" for making it such a lax simple stay. <3

Lovely desert decor and a bidet toilet with a remote! The rooms were spacious and the king size bed was heavenly. But the check in online was difficult for an older person and needing 2 different codes to get in and out was not user friendly.

Amazing hotel. Great value. Excellent vintage and mid century decor. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, shower great and room spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were the highlight. Comfortable pool lounges. A great place to stay. Just note there is no reception or staff on site. No issue for me but if you expect that type of service you may be disappointed but it was no issue for us, communication by whats app was good.

Fall in love with The cactai

I cannot say enough good things about The Cactai. This place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are clean, really well appointed, and spacious. I had a couple things I needed help with and the owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The pool area is immaculate and quiet and the location is so close to great coffee and food. This is the perfect solo retreat and I’d recommend it to anyone!

First and foremost this isn’t your typical hotel where there’s a front desk. If you need anything you have to “text a number.” I had an incident where I was provided with the code to the front door and my room at approx 2:30 pm on Friday 8/15 and I had booked the room til 8/17. After I had came into the room, I was in there for no more than 5 minutes when I had used the restroom to pee and upon flushing the toilet, there was a leak in one of their pipes which caused an explosion of water and led to flooding my bathroom. After I had experienced this I had flagged down the cleaners and they said they would have to contact their boss to “see what they can do.” After that I had reached out to the number provided for guests and spoke with Monty via text and told him about the situation. He then states he is unable to move me and the best he could do was to have them clean the bathroom. The fact that the hotel is fully booked is out of his control and I totally understand that. What really upset me was that instead of trying to make the situation better when I had asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience he states that he allowed me to have “early check in” when check in was at 3 and he had allowed me to check in at 230 when again, he sent me the code for the room I did not ask for it. And then to make things worse when I had asked again for some sort of compensation he states I could have ONE item from the minibar. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

The Cactai was a great choice for a taste of Palm Springs and for a relaxing stay. The boutique hotel is fully updated and perfectly designed.
