Outdoor space top notch
My family and I enjoyed the entire property. We appreciated the bedrooms being in different wings of the house with the central living area in the middle; however, we found ourselves hanging out by the pool and the outdoor living area. The weather was so nice, especially coming from Chicago. We would stay here again.

Great location, house has a few flaws
We loved the location, pool/spa and ease of check in and check out. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication with management company was easy. The floors in main part of house are metal. Which means they are cold and our socks and feet turned black. Pack slippers and dark socks. In one bathroom, there was an approximate foot drop to get into shower. There is a handle to hold onto/ pull yourself out of the shower. Thus, only one shower was useable for our group of 4. Parts of the house needed attention- grill did not light using automatic switch and once lit (manually) only one burner worked. A vent in the master bedroom rattled when air/heat turned on. A note in advance regarding metal floors would have been nice to be prepared for this.

We spent four nights at Lost Oasis. It was a fantastic trip!
The house is convenient to downtown. We opted to drive rather than walk to downtown since we were dressed for a nice dinner at LG’s steakhouse.
It has all of the amenities to make your stay simply wonderful. The backyard is an oasis with a beautiful pool and tons of privacy.
The property management company made check in and check out super easy. Their communication through text and email was extremely helpful.
We hope to make a return to Lost Oasis in May for my husband’s birthday.

A great time during the heat wave
Our stay was fantastic. The AC kept us cool during the heat wave and we felt right at home here. Our only comment is we wished the landscape lighting was working.

Fabulous Find! We've already booked a return visit!
This property was the absolute perfect getaway for my spouse and I - would be perfect for 2 couples. It's a wonderfully laid out house with common area in middle, beds/bath flanking either side. The moment you walk in the door, your eye is taken directly to the backyard through the spans of floor to ceiling, wall to wall glass. Private, hedge lined backyard and sparkling pool are ready for you to come and enjoy. The pool layout is perfection - tanning shelf on one end with raised hot tub on the either. The hot tub spills over to pool creating the most wonderful sounds (this is a total win in Palm Springs as there is a noise ordinance which prohibits ANY and ALL amplified sound - so no speakers, music, etc. Not all houses have this type of fountain benefit). The fountain provides the perfect ambient sounds for back yard relaxing in absence of being able to play music. In addition, there is a very large extended covered patio - perfect respite for the non sun lovers or for lounging and chatting. Aside from dinners out, the house was our destination and we made the most of every single moment there. It's very well located on the south end of town (not windy like the north end of town, which is location benefit). Check-in/out was a breeze and contactless. The property management company was easy and quick with communication. Check out protocols were simple. Would recommend this property so much so that We've already booked a return visit in a couple of months.

Great get away home in Palm Springs
Two very nice house with big bedrooms. The kitchen had all you need in the way of kitchenware with the exception of too few plastic glasses for the patio and pool area. The management company, Acme, was very responsive and as nice touch provided 12 oz of freshly roasted coffee from Sisters (Oregon). One item of warning - the garage door is the kind that folds outward and is not a rollup. This means the garage can only be used by a vehicle that is less the 6'2" tall. Our Sequoia would not fit. The Tahquitz River Trail is right across the street and is a fun walk. We did it everyday. The neighborhood was quiet and even the remodel going on next door was not disturbing. Interestingly, we had lots of birds in the trees at the rental property and all the neighbors and they serenaded us all day long. Final vote by our family - we would definitely come back again.

Awesome getaway
The place was perfect- two large bedrooms on opposite ends of the house so you can have your own space. Lots of large windows letting light in. The hot tub is large and the pool is long enough to sort of swim laps whereas most backyard pools are too short for that. There's also real grass and a bunch of places to sit and relax in the yard. The location is nice too with a walk along the riverside just in front of the house. Great place to walk the dog when it starts to cool down in the evening. Would love to go back! Only downside was that we did not have access to the garage door so the car gets very hot in the sun. If we could park the car in the garage, it would be the perfect spot.

The house is better than it looks in the photos. Everything is perfect. Very spacious. On a super quiet street facing the small river. Nice walking trails right out the front door. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Wifi very strong 300 mb+. Great communication with management company. Highly recommend.

Beautiful pool and house
Acme was great at communication, accommodation and hospitality. We ended up staying at an alternative property because Lost Oasis had construction noise. The La Bella Villa was a beautiful home and pool, but it's location in N. Palm Springs meant it was windy nearly all the time.

Perfect Property
Our only suggestions are:
1. Repair seat cushion supports of 3 white dining room chairs we set aside
2. Make sure the guest has the right code for the garage
3. Doggie Gift Box?
Our Standard Poodle has the same 30 year old toys as our 3 previous Standards in perfect condition. These are very low impact, soft mouthed canines. The squeakers in the 2 toys in the cute doggie gift box broke within 15 minutes. Why not contract with a local pet shop to provide a toy and non-toxic treat? The gesture of the gift box was awesome but a bit of a waste of money.
By utilizing a local shop, you could be supporting the local community and providing quality items - less to live in the landfill.
By the way, we always bring our own shampoos, etc. wherever we travel. But the products here are exceptional! What a great surprise!
And perhaps warn guests not to walk their pooches in the cool of the morning or evening. The coyotes are making their rounds! We need these predators and should do what we can not to disturb them.
Thank you! We love this property and would like to replicate it with only one or two bedrooms.

Great getaway, location, property & pool !
My husband and I had a great time at Lost Oasis! We drive down to Palm Springs often for quick getaways from the Bay Area. Check-in was super easy and Acme was super responsive and the texting was fantastic. Everything was clear for check in too.
We loved the house, location and the Pool area. We walked on the path right outside the house every morning and grilled dinner most evenings. Our days were spend by the pool reading and relaxing; its a very quiet neighborhood (exactly what we needed and wanted). The white chairs on the pool landing were where we had morning coffee and afternoon relaxing under the umbrella - that was so nice!!
This house is close to downtown we has a great dinners/lunches there. We also spent some time in Palm Desert and the nearby casino in Cathedral City - all very close and accessible.
The layout of the house was great, we needed nothing and the kitchen was super well stocked - we had everything we needed and more. I especially liked playing records when we were cooking dinner and eating inside; very nice touch with frank sinatra and cream albums ;-)
This house takes pets so we experienced some allergies in the 2cnd bedroom; we assume it was due to the higher pile rugs that might be holding some dander. We are pet lovers so we understood completely; low pile or no pile rugs might work better.
I would recommend this house to anyone looking for the Palm Springs lifestyle - mid century modern- experience and if you like to cook, like we do, you will want for nothing - enjoy.
Thanks for everything!

Super hip stay in Tahquitz River Estates
This property is really nice, in a great neighborhood, hip design (including metal floors, which we've never seen), great layout (two master bedrooms on opposite sides of the house), and the backyard is amazing (and fully enclosed if you have dogs.). There is even one extra tiny room with a twin bed that they do not include in the listing. The management company was very communicative and we appreciated the attention to detail...including leaving a little welcoming kit for our pups and amenities you would get in a hotel, including bathrobes, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, coffee. The washing machine was broken, so the management company arranged to have our laundry picked up and laundered for us off site. The pool was lovely and we loved the wide step in the shallow end with chairs and an umbrella. There was one issue with the plumbing backing up that we had to deal with, which is why we are giving it less than five stars. The management company was super responsive to the issue, but still put a little damper on the last day/night of the trip. But aside from that little hiccup, everything else was really great.
