Overall, our stay was great however, we did not have hot water in our room our first day/night. We finally got warmer water in the morning, but not very hot.

Grounds are well kept and rooms are clean. Cheekys had great food!

this hotel is great! my boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing weekend and I have never stayed in a hotel in palm springs since I usually rent a house with friends but since he had never been to palm springs I figured we could stay in a hotel in downtown Palm Springs. This was a great place, fairly central but NOT walking distance to downtown palm springs (eateries, bars, shopping etc) we went the first week of July and it was beyond hot but the hotel has a pool and since its more of an adult hotel the most that was in the pool was about 6 people and that included us. We took our portable speaker, adult beverages and just lounged for hours. Our room was on the second floor (44) very close to the pool, it had a fireplace, it was very clean, everything is white, the bed is comfy, very sleek bathroom (no shower door) and continental breakfast aka plain and chocolate croissants and coffee. I am huge on reading reviews before i book a hotel so when i came across this place i was glad to see there weren't too many negative reviews. I have no complaints about this place, its wonderful I would absolutely stay here again

The bed was very comfortable. I had my own private patio, although it was close to the entrance so I could here people going in and out. The pool looked nice but I didn’t have a chance to hang out by it. The staff was helpful and nice and gave me a bottle of water when I came back to pick up my bags, which they held for me during the day. I would stay here again.

A wonderful staff made our recent stay very pleasant. The small hotel is centrally located and although the rooms are a bit small they are perfectly comfortable. The fresh pastries from the adjacent restaurant are an excellent way to begin your morning from the courtyard overlooking the pool and, of course, the mountains.

Beautifully maintained tasteful modern oasis with gorgeous pool and surrounding desert landscaped common areas. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Palm Springs....Cheeky's Birba, Jakes etc and a great independent coffee house Koffi. Staff could be a bit friendlier but they are pleasant enough. The only thing I might suggest to management is change up the breakfast pastry options each day and offer small half bottles of wine for purchase to enjoy in your room or in the courtyard. Otherwise 5 star experience.

Nice place to chill for a day in Palm Springs. Rooms are in all white so kinda bright but nice bedding. Very comfortable.

Good value. Great location. Friendly staff. Would stay again. Bathrooms could use an update

We loved this hotel. Beautiful gardens and view of the mountain. The room was spacious and bright. The sheets and pillows are the best. Great location with good restaurants and bars an easy walk. Lots of interesting shops close by. We love the mid-century feel of the whole area.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Alcazar. Would go back.

This place is different than most hotels in a good way because the room is all pure white. It definitely looks good and very clean. Aside from the room, the place is right next to downtown palm spring so you can just walk from this hotel and enjoy the nightlife without worrying about driving. Additionally, the staff was excellent.

Staff and stay was beyond our expectations! The room was large and comfortable. We had a beautiful walled patio with a sitting area and gorgeous flowers. The jacuzzi was very relaxing after a long day of driving.

My boyfriend and I stayed here overnight and couldn't be happier with our experience. The Alcazar is a beautiful, modern, and charming hotel. The rooms are very simplistic, which I love, and have the most comfortable down comforters imaginable. The staff was very accomodating, allowing us to check-in 2 hours before the posted check-in time and allowing for late check-out. Despite the fact the rooms are all white and have plantation shutters, it stayed dark in our room until we managed to get out of bed, around 11am! The pool is very relaxing and over-sized beach towels were provided. It's location couldn't be any better...super close to downtown and fine eateries. I look forward to coming back here in the near future!

Just got back from a couple nights at the Alcazar. The hotel was clean and quiet and accommodating. My boyfriend and I loved the heated saltwater pool (warm enough to swim in on a chilly, overcast evening in February) and the overall look of the hotel. Our room was nice and large, and we appreciated that the hotel provided bicycles free of charge. We will definitely return! This place is a steal.

My husband and I prefer small boutique hotels whenever possible because they're unique, have friendlier staff, and good locations. The Alcazar is a winner on all counts. Our room was huge, The hotel's decor was inventive and striking - all white with black accents. A heated salt water pool, whirlpool, and lovely sitting area was just steps from our door. The Hotel offered the complimentary use of bikes, and was adjacent to one of our favorite restaurants, Cheekies. The manager was welcoming and even told my husband how to build a duplicate of one of the water features on the property when we both admired it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel may have been nice, however we aren't sure. We stayed at Alcazar Hotel during a wind storm in Palm Springs. The power was knocked out all night. Other places around us got power back but the hotel did not. Although not their fault, it made our stay miserable. We had to go out and buy a flash light just to see in the room. The staff did not seem very apologetic about the situation.

We liked this 50s era updated hotel. It is attractive and comfortable and near the main drag. However, our room backed onto a busy street and the very loud sound of traffic made it nearly impossible to go to sleep. I finally dozed off at around 3:30 Am. I would return but I would demand to be lodged in a section of the hotel that does not back onto that very busy street. The hotel room we were in was in the 30s series so stay away from there if you stay there.

This is a lovely boutique hotel nestled in a great location that's close to downtown and right behind the amazing breakfast spot Cheeky's and the new high end pizza/bar Birba. It's quaint and cozy and the grounds (especially the pool/jacuzzi area) are pretty and relaxing. Like most boutique hotels, none of the rooms look or feel the same and the quality/size varies a great degree. Make sure you ask lots of questions about where you're specifically being situated before you arrive.
