The Homestead is such a warm and welcoming gem! The owners Cody and Mike welcomed us with the luxury touches--mini ice machine and delicious ground coffee!!--as well as with a warm greeting. It felt like staying at an old inn or guest house, except for all the modern touches. The bedding, towels and housewares in the kitchenette made us feel like we were in a 5 star in the middle of peach farm country! We can't wait to be back!

The Homestead is a great place to stay when visiting Palisade! Recently renovated, clean, excellent room amenities, beautiful view from the back patio, close to downtown and many wineries. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area.

Loved this little motel. Easy check in, comfortable beds, nice amenities like full size coffee maker, good coffee & creamer in the room along with an ice maker of your very own. Owners were great at communicating with us. We will definitely book this motel next time we visit & bring our dog with us.

Charming and comfortable

This is a charming place to stay with mountain views in front and back. Super comfortable and well laid out. It was great to have a quiet, restful night! They have everything you need. We appreciated the charging ports and plenty of plugs. Everything looks sparkling new and very clean.

Wonderful place to stay in Palisade

Amazing place to stay - Uber clean, classy modern decor, all the small touches that make a stay enjoyable! The bedding was particularly excellent, and we enjoyed sipping coffee on the patio with the mountains and vineyards in view. Mike and Cody are excellent hosts.

Cozy, clean, a bit loud, local owners are great

Clean, cozy and enjoyable! I chose to stay here to support a family owned business as opposed to a hotel chain. I requested the addition of flowers and local goodies so I could surprise my husband. The owners did a great job with the request and it made our stay even more special. The only drawback, which the owner is aware of and working on, is that noise travels between the units. If you have loud kiddos or like your music or TV loud in the morning, please be considerate of others. If you relish quiet and privacy, speak softly and bring ear plugs. You’ll be comfy in the bed, the shower is spacious, the AC is great on those hot Palisade days, and in the evenings you can enjoy a relatively private patio and have a drink or smoke. The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home and the in-room ice machine was a huge help with beating the heat. I’d definitely stay here again.

This is really an amazing property that I very much enjoyed my short stay at. The town is incredibly quaint and the surroundings are gorgeous. They did an excellent job with the rooms and I was very happy with the stay. The staff/owners were extremely helpful and accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend this place.

One night stay on our way home to Denver and what a welcome surprise staying at The Homestead! First off, what a cozy place! Everything is so fresh and crisp from the excellent bedding and comfortable bed to the water-yes it comes from a reservoir in the mountains nearby! The back porch has a nice view with a firepit which is a perfect way to end a long travel day. We will definitely be back; especially to enjoy it in the summertime to do some wine tasting and peach sampling!
