We were highly disappointed with this hotel. Our room was located in the attic, and unless you’re under 5'4", you’ll constantly be bumping your head due to the sloped ceiling and lack of headroom. The bed and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable.
I was traveling with my sister, and to our surprise, there was no bathroom door — meaning one of us had to leave the room whenever the other needed to shower or use the toilet. After we complained, they eventually gave us a makeshift wooden divider, but that’s not what was advertised on Hotels.com.
The room was poorly maintained: the paint was peeling, an electrical outlet in the hallway was completely open (a serious safety hazard), and the refrigerator didn’t work. Cleanliness was lacking throughout. The “shampoo” came in tiny ketchup-style packets, the towels were rough and old, and there were no towel bars in the bathroom. The window in the room was an 8" porthole (see photo)
Breakfast was mediocre at best — stale pastries and little variety. Overall, this property does not match its online description and needs significant improvement in comfort, safety, and maintenance.
