Stayed 3 nights - we walked to the hotel (wheeling our bags) from the train station and actually arrived hours before the 2pm check-in time, so reception held our bags. Having booked the family room with twin share beds and a balcony, when we entered the room it wasn't set up with twins so called reception and about 5-10 mins later staff arrived to split the bed and make up as twin. We had plenty of space for 2 people as there was a balcony and another whole room as part of the family room. Clean & tidy - good bathroom with everything you'd expect and a heated mirror that didn't fog up. Comfortable beds. Our family room with balcony had a partial water/port view and a view across the garden of an old historic building. For our stay, we opted to find a nearby café to have our morning cornetto & coffee at (with the locals), and good one was just a 3 minute walk away (just around the corner from the NH Hotel actually). NH Hotel is a good location as were able to walk to the city's historic centre sites and the restaurants. On the day we left, we made use of the guest/public lounge areas and the free wi-fi (after checking out) while we were waiting for our transport.

We stayed 2 nights and were offered accomodation in the renovated area of the hotel in a spacious family room with a beautiful sea view. Large bathroom with massive shower and separate bathtub. Kettle and espresso coffee machine. Excellent location with walking distance to the city centre and main attractions. Friendly service in all departments. Good breakfast with a wide variety of fresh products. Presentation could be improved. The hotel, as the city of Palermo has maybe seen better times in the past.

Staffs are friendly and very good service, I have asked restaurant recommendation for dinner and they immediately checked and reserved ones. It was also a very nice restaraunt. Location is good and it is near sea side, so view from the room was also wonderfil. I want to stay this hotel again.

We spent a week in the no Palermo- the city itself is dirty with overflowing skips of rubbish on the side of the roads. Traffic was chaotic to say the least with public transport hit and miss. However the no hotel provided an oasis in the middle of this. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The bedroom was spotless with daily room service. Food in the restaurant was average- we ate there one night- it’s proved expensive and the food uninspiring. Drinks were also very expensive with slow service at times with the exception of Constantino- he provided a very professional service at all times with courtesy and a steady supply of snacks- he was amazing- many thanks! Staff at the hotel from reception to housekeeping were very welcoming and professional- nothing was too much trouble for them. Just beware of the taxi drivers... we were quoted a fixed price to go to the airport which he raised on arrival. Get a price before you take the taxi- they attempted to rip us off a few times. Street food and the quality of wines in Palermo was amazing with beautiful monuments and churches on every corner- it,s a lovely city with fabulous but appears very neglected and run down

We arrieved after staying in a very good hotel in Catania with some fear. Never heard of NH hotels..... surprise.... Good location. Big Restaurant that served very good breakfast.A pitty the fruit juices are not freshly squeezed. The croissantsvery fresh and tasty The room medium size. The bath room very spacious. The lobby bar very tiny Free and plenty parking places Very near tyo what is important to see if you are only for a short visit Enjoyed Palermo and enjoyed NH PALERMO

The lobby area is quite pleasant to sit and have a chat with friends or to watch a large screen TV installed there. There's a small bar that also serves the pool area and the waiter who attended us was most pleasant, as are the staff in the reception. We were visiting from Spain and the staff spoke Spanish as well as English. Our room was in the older part of the hotel, but it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We liked everything about this hotel (as our past experience in some supposedly 4 star hotels in Italy, specifically Rome, was definitely over-rated).

Nice modern hotel located in the Harbour. Not so many hotels to offer the pool and room quality in Palermo. We enjoyed a family room with double balcony and sea views. Price was a good deal for the size and confort. Nice staff and cleaning personnel. The city can be dirty in some areas and not well maintained but the hotel is a good escape enjoying a relaxing atmosphere a little outside of the busy center life.

It's not our first time in NH hotels And like always They are the best Great room Comfortable bed and the sea view is great There is also a pool Just the wi fi didn't work all the time Take a room with balcony and sea view

We booked this through we did have a lot of trouble but seemed to get there in then....until we got there. It was late we were tired and the gentleman on the desk was not particularly helpful inasmuch as he said we had to pay extra for breakfast. I showed him the email I had from NH Palermo clearly stating breakfast was included.....he took a copy of the mail, and said he would deal with it. As far as I was concerned It was not paying extra! As a point no one could ever prove we had breakfast as it was a free for all no one checks room numbers or anything. The booking also said tea and coffee making facilities in the room...wrong!! Trying to get a drink in the evening was a one wanted to serve us. We did however have a lovely sea view but not sure I would go back.

Just checked into this hotel. Unpacked bag and thought I would go down to the bar for a drink. Waited 4-5 minutes before the attendant arrived. He asked if I was from the pool area and when I said "no" he advised that I would need to wait 25 minutes before he could provide me with a drink. No explanation, just a simple apology before he walked away. Not good enough hotel management. You need to learn what customer service is
