This hotel is an excellent option for travellers arriving and departing from Glasgow airport. The main terminal is an easy, safe 2 minute walk, with the 500 airport express bus (which goes right to Queen Street station) stance right outside the terminal. Staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful, and informative. There is a bar and dining for the evening hours and, for early departures, a well-stocked continental breakfast bar starting at 4am. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Overall, an excellent option, and I will continue to choose this hotel when traveling to and from Glasgow.

Location was excellent, but very limited when it came to dining opportunities (not surprising, considering the location). Room was very small and clean, but bathroom sink would not drain which was a bit unpleasant with five people using it.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, and we weren't disappointed. We could easily walk out of the terminal, through a parking garage, and directly to a path that took us to the hotel. They also have a restaurant right near the lobby check-in counter and serve food until fairly late in the evening. Coming from the airport and then going back again in the morning for another flight was really easy.

Very nice facility, breakfast, and staff

It is a very nice, newly decorated reasonably priced hotel. The staff were very kind. Breakfast had several options, including most of a traditional Scottish breakfast. They stored our bags for a couple days without a charge. I highly recommend it.

A good base for exploring Glasgow

The ideal base for exploring Glasgow; a short walk to the airport and regular bus service. The bed was comfortable, there was sufficient hanging space but not much drawer space, just 1 small drawer in each bedside table. The usb sockets had been overused and no longer connected on one side of the bed. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Reception staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was good but the layout in the servery meant waiting behind a long queue for hot food when I only required cereal. The evening meal I had, Hunters Chicken, was dry and overcooked.

There are two Holiday Inn hotels at Glasgow Airport that are a few hundred metres apart and not well signed when you arrive. The breakfast has a fuller range of options (gluten free too) and generous seating in a large modern restaurant. The hotel room itself was quite small and pricey, but it was clean and updated and had everything needed for an airport night.

Parfait pour nous. Nous avions un vol tôt le matin et l'aéroport est tout juste à 5 min de marche. En plus, nous devions rendre notre voiture de location, qui est également à coté de l'hôtel. Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel en soirée. Les ailes et le fromage de chèvre étaient succulents. Les lits étaient confortables et la chambre suffisamment spacieuse pour notre besoin d'une nuit

Last minutes stopover

Got stranded at the airport so had to make a last minute booking. The reception sorted me out an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Standards are what you expect from Holiday Inn Express. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff are friendly and professional, breakfast is OK.
