The Admiral is Admirable!

From the lovely welcome from Kerry to the comfort, size and cleanliness of the room, the stay was excellent. The weather was very cool at night and the electric blankets were wonderful! Small kitchenette, good shower, thoroughly recommend.

This was a great hotel. The room was large, it was well equipped with everything from pots and pans to a small stove and microwave and fridge. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. There is also an easy to use laundry area. My only complaint was the internet. It was really SLOOOOOW. I'm a digital nomad, so this is important to me and I measure things like speed. When I arrived, it was running about 4-5 Mbps,acceptable, probably not fast enough for streaming but good enough for email By evening, it has degraded to .1 Mbps, making web use next to impossible and even email or using spotify painfully slow. Time to upgrade to more bandwidth. I'm in a motel in the northland in the middle of nowhere with speeds of 30-40 Mbps, so I know it is possible. Other than that quibble, important to me but perhaps not to most people, it was a great stay. I would recommend it as long as you don't have a Zoom meeting or need to send multimedia files.

Excellent stay

3 night booked with a garden view, The room was good although we did have a small problem which I took up with the owner and offered to pay to upgrade. She obligingly moved us upstairs for two nights and the room was so much better and she did not charge me anything. Very friendly staff and owner. Easy access to the beach and pier.
