Our hosts were amazing, they welcomed us upon arrival, assisted with our luggage and provided some home made baking. They host a very high quality continental breakfast with home made bread, eggs cooked to your liking. Extensive knowledge of the area, lots of maps and recommendations, would highly recommend staying at Allegra, we actually stayed an addition night as it’s the perfect location to base yourself in the Bay of Islands.The views from the rooms are amazing looking over the harbour to Russel in the background.

We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful accommodation. Throughly enjoyed our stay as well as all that the far North has to offer. The hosts were so hospitable and engaging. They certainly made us feel at home and nothing was too much for them. The view of the harbour from our hilltop room was spectacular and the surrounding native bush was the perfect get away. Along with stunning views we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and delightful company each morning. Highly recommend a stay at Allegra House.

Best accommodation with best view

We tried booking beachfront hotels but when we saw this place, we instantly knew that it will offer us better accommodation. The view was spectacular from the room. The area was quiet the place feels like home. Very comfortable and to top it off, the delicious homemade breakfast by the owners. They were very accommodating and entertaining at the same time. It was our first time in Paihia and it did not disappoint us. Will definitely book this accommodation on our next visit.

Superb

A very warm welcome from the owner on arrival. He was a font of great information on the area and makes a superb loaf of bread for breakfast. Our room was spotless. There were two large bars in the bathroom to hang out two towels on. Excellent. The kettle and hot drinks provision was a very nice touch. The view was unforgettable. Breakfast itself was delicious with a great choice. Cannot fault the place.

Fantastic views of The Bay of Islands

Britta and Heinz were the congenial and helpful host of this clean and immaculate B&B. Perched high above Paihia the views from our well appointed room were a spectacular vista of the township and the bay overall. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Nothing to complain about here - would highly recommend Allegra House.

We had a wonderful stay at Allegra House. Our room was perfect with the most magnificent views of the Bay of Islands. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and had so many suggestions of places to visit and things to see. The breakfasts were also great - Heinz sure know a thing or two about cooking eggs! We can't recommend a better place to stay.

Beautiful location, amazing views. The owners are lovely, friendly knowledgeable of what things to do in the area. They cook you an amazing breakfast every morning up on the open balcony. Only downside is if you want to go out for a drink without driving it’s a huge hill to walk up. But Accommodation wise excellent.

Amazing accomodation with fantastic hosts

Allegra House and it’s hosts Brita and Heinz provide an amazing holiday experience. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic and the service provided by the hosts was first class. Nothing was too much trouble and we honestly felt like part of the family. The view over the bay is unparalleled. Allegra House provided an unforgettable couple of days rest in a beautiful location and we can’t recommend it highly enough.
