We had a great time. There is a lot to do in the area. A couple of days is not long enough to cover it. Quality Suites was clean and nice, the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was hot and fresh every morning.
I reserved a mobility accessible room as my wife requires and the room satisfied her. She was pleased with the roll in shower and size of the room. She found the room to be clean. She appreciated cookies in the evening and coffee in the room and at breakfast. She was pleased with breakfast but thought it could have been restocked better our first morning. She liked the strawberry pancakes and fruit - pastries also. There's good WiFi, business center, and exercise center but she didn't use them. Staff gave great service including but not limited to check in and check out.
The reviews had me a little Leary but I’m glad I took the chance. For the price this place is great! Newly remodeled. Large clean rooms with great sheets and pillows. Could walk to Texas Road House. Other food options nearby. Also did a little shopping at the many places nearby. Breakfast was more than I hoped for. Staff was excellent!! And I saw no problem with the parking lot. The person who thought it was sketchy has never stayed in some of the places I have!
I stayed here several years ago when it was a Comfort Suites. It is still a Choice property but is a Quality Suites now. I made my reservation through the Choice Privileges website to get a special rate and since I remembered the hotel doesn't have an elevator, I called to ensure I would get a ground floor room. They were very accommodating and the requested ground floor room was assigned to me. This is still a nice hotel, located near lots of shopping and dining and right off I-24. The only issue is accessibility to the interior corridors. There are doors at the front (lobby) and back of the building. There's also a door about midway down the hall that opens into the parking lot fronting the street. Unfortunately, this door was closed when i was there and was labeled as exit-only. This made parking and bringing items in from the vehicle a bit inconvenient. Hopefully this was only a temporary matter and will be corrected.
We stayed two nights and were very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel was clean, the suites were roomy compared to a normal hotel room and the pool area was spotless. There was a good selection in the breakfast area each morning. There were many restaurants in the area and some within walking distance. The staff was excellent. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
We asked to be moved to another room due to the mattress being really hard and lumpy, other rooms bed wasn’t to much better, woke up with a bad back and toss and turned all night, they should invest in new mattresses, WiFi was also very weak, wouldn’t hardly get a connection, breakfast wasn’t to good either, need to upgrade on the cheap biscuits wasn’t done in the middle. Orange juice was watery, and they don’t carry Bananas, other than that, room was clean, hallways stink and need renovation, smells funky.
The lobby and staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Beds and linens were excellent. Also a very quiet location. The rooms need a very thorough cleaning. Only Surface cleaning has been done. Hallway had a very sweet smell, seemed like they were trying to mask something. I expect there are mold and mildew issues.
We had a good overnight stay. The lobby was welcoming with a veggie tray and cookies for guests. The staff was super friendly, especially Jesse, who was extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was smaller, but adequate and kept at a tolerable temperature. Bonus, it is indoors, so you can swim regardless of the weather. Breakfast was ok. There were many restaurants and shops around. The only quibble with this stay was that there aren't any elevators so, if you need the first floor, I'd make sure to book that ahead. Paducah was having a quilt convention at the time and has many events. We also visited the Kentucky dam. Worth the trip.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. Their is no elevator that I could find I heard a lady complaining about it. The only problem I had was the window in my room was all fogged up and you couldn't see out of it. The breakfast was average but the breakfast area is small and I was left with no place to sit. Decent place to stay for a night or two.
I'm new to requesting a handicapped accessible room, and found many variations of what type of room this is on our 2 week road trip. Room #122 met our needs, especially having a large bathroom with walk-in shower that had a bench and hand held shower head. Many grab bars had been installed in the shower and around the toilet. The room was large and included a couch, lounge chair, desk, etc. However the mattress was uncomfortable, as the coils could be felt when laying on it. The housekeeping staff needs to do a major cleaning of the room and shower. First there is mold on the shower grout, and then the furniture is "sticky". And please clean the phone. A night light in the bathroom would be appreciated.
