I ordered a disabled room for aging parents to have a roll in shower (paid extra for the room) and it was NOT available even though the booking said I booked it. The night staff said there was NOTHING they could do. One parent said he wasn’t going to take a bath but he would try to help his bipolar heavy set wife (who had recent knee surgery) the best he could. AND I had to pay $50 extra for each room when I checked in for ?? Maybe it’s a deposit and I’ll get it back - who knows!!
Very nice to have full kitchen! Comfy beds!
It was a nice stop after a long day of driving. Easy on/off the highway and the room was comfortable, and very accommodating for the dog. I was bit disappointed about the hidden fee of 75.00 for pets and then an additional 25.00 for a pets - seems that a flat 100.00 would have been a bit more honest. I didn't see the charge until after we had checked out, so I guess that's on me. I will make sure to read the small print.
Air conditioner made a very loud noise that prevented us from sleeping so we had to turn off which then it got very hot. We called for help but was only offered earplugs. No body wash or conditioner in bathroom.
I really liked how modern the room was & how comfy the bed was . I didn’t like that it didn’t have a pool !
It was great; we had never stayed at a Candlewood Suites before. I really liked the full kitchen. The only negative was that our shower didn't have a shower curtain, but someone came and brought one as soon as we told the front desk. On our way back through Paducah 8 days later, we decided to stay at the same hotel again because the first experience was so good.
I thought I had reserved a one bedroom king suite but it was the studio so there was no sofa bed and my teenaged daughter had to sleep in the recliner. The pictures are a little deceptive. There also was no breakfast served so you have to add in the cost of going somewhere to eat breakfast when considering the cost.
Great to see that the room had a kitchen, fridge and microwave.
The only over excited happiness was when I got there. The manager was over the top friendly, but I was super tired after driving for 10 hours I wasn’t in the mood for smiles. Totally not her fault. After that nobody ever acknowledged my presence upon entry of the building or exiting. Ok. If you want a food nights sleep, don’t stay here! You can hear EVERY Semi that crossed the bridge and the pillows were hard. You can hear your neighbors above and next door as if there wasn’t even a wall there. I was suppose to stay for 3 days but after the second, I couldn’t do it anymore. Packed my things and checked out and went up the road to another hotel that was superb! I will never stay at Candlewood or anyone affiliated with them ever again. Very disappointing!!
We were in town for archery with a group of 3. We were sadly disappointed when we arrived. There were dogs barking all night. The neighbors were very noisy. One of the families with us had to change hotels completely due to dog poop in her room and unclean beds (hair under the cover on sheets) so we couldn't all stay together. The other couple had to move to another room away from the group due to a non-working lock and a toilet that wouldn't flush. We were very disappointed and will not be staying with you guys anymore.
It was disgusting. We checked into our room and found dog poop on the floor. Then pulled covers back on the bed and it was covered in hair. Very obvious the room was not cleaned. When I told the front desk about it she said she was embarrassed and offered us 2 rooms with 1 king bed each which would not work with a child. After finding the dog poop and the hair I was not staying in that hotel. We were in a group of people and that had multiple rooms and 1 of their rooms had issues and the door did not lock to the room. I absolutely would not recommend thus hotel to anyone.
tv remote and ice maker didn't work but everything else perfect. Bed was so comfortable and I think staff was best I had ever dealt with. You couldn't help but smile. They were incredibly patient, kind and warm to us. everything
The hotel was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend trip.
The hotel room was gorgeous and comfortable! My daughter and I made a cross country road trip with our dog Tony and stayed in 8 hotels over the course of the trip and this was by far the best! The staff was lovely and the room felt like home. I could not have asked for a better hotel! We enjoyed our stay so much we were looking for other Candlewood Suite locations on the last half of our trip to stay in. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.
WE ENJOYED THE ROOM AND THE EXPERIENCE HERE.THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. THE BREAKFAST WAS UNBELIEVABLE! MORE THA WE HAD EXPECTED.
Reserved a smoking room by mistake. Staff was very friendly and switched us with no problem. Room was clean and facilities were nice. No breakfast available.
The hotel was nice except for the elevator which yearly inspection was overdue. A man got stuck in elevator but management for him out. They kept the elevator running until the next day when two people got stuck and the fire department had to come to their rescue after management had tried for over an hour to get them out. Too make matters worse we didn't realize this was a "pet friendly" hotel. We were sadly disappointed in the weekend when we were kept up all night by barking dogs!
Everything we needed for a multi-day, fix most of the meals in the room stay. Convenient to the Historic District, shopping and freeway for trips out to explore. Clean, comfortable room, beds, kitchen, bath. Only downs....the fan is on if the bathroom light is on (a bit noisy for those midnight trips) or if someone in the room is trying to have a conversation.

Unfortunately, the booking site made the error on your reservation. They booked the same room types that you were given at the property. I would contact them directly with your concerns.
