This weekend I had some friends visiting and I bough two rooms for them. They said it was nice and clean and there was no problem with noise. This is a popular place to stay for those who like to play in the national forest.

We had two queen beds in a large room with a refrigerator that were clean and comfortable. A great hot shower in a clean bathroom. The AC could have been colder but was comfortable enough. We paid $69 plus $10 for our Labrador which was good value for this budget motel in this area of Arkansas. The owners/front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We found the local grocery store excellent for all the things we needed.

One of the dirtiest motels I have been to in a long time...charged me $10 extra for my dog, and I didn't even want my dog to be on their floor. The whole room was in disrepair...the fridge did not work, the microwave was broken, the shower was absolutely horrible, pool was empty, and the room was VERY dirty...needless to say, it was NOT worth the $90 total I paid. I would not recommend.

There was a miscommunication with the reservation. The owner actually called me while we were traveling to see what time we would be checking in. We were going to be a few minutes past the 11pm check in cutoff and he was going on and on about how he was going to be closed. Finally, he said he could leave a key for us and I stated "well, why didn't you say that to begin with? You were really stressing me out" In which he replied "Since I was stressing you out, go ahead and call Hotels.com and cancel your reservation.." After more discussion, that is what we had to do. He was just extremely rude. I finally asked if he was the owner because it blew my mind that he would be talking to a customer that way and he said that he was indeed.. There are very few hotels in a 40 mile radius so that was in fact very stressful to have to deal with at 9pm. Will not ever stay in this hotel in the future.

We are actually packing up and leaving today from here. When we came down on Friday and didn't get here until 11:20pm. The front desk guy was absolutely great in every way. They closed the front at 11pm and he stayed so we could check in late (that was the only odd part) never heard of the front office closing. But he stayed late, just for us. The room was cozy, and pretty big for a single king bed. We liked that we came in and didn't smell smoke, didn't see any bugs or mattress stains. For $69 a night, I definitely recommend this motel compared to the others in town. We ride ATV trails and it had a nice hot shower. Everything we would have needed is local including a Wal-Mart.

Let me begin with something positive such as the lady behind the desk was very nice. The towels and sheets were clean. They do offer free WiFi although I had to reconnect several times. There was also a mini fridge and micro wave...I wasn't breve enough to use the coffee pot. I'm afraid it's a bit down hill from here. The room had a distinctive odor of too much carpet fresh, the carpet was worn and dirty, mold in shower tile grout and generally room could use a deep cleaning. There was a swimming pool which had no water in it and looked to be in disrepair. Sorry but I won't stay here again...will keep driving!

The king sized room was roomy..had a frig and micro...clean but dated. Near dollar stores and restaurants. Worth what we payed. Flat screen tv..recliner and small table with two chairs. Need to bring soap and dryer for your hair. Plenty of towels. Coffee lacking..but bought some instant.

We arrived a little late in the afternoon, We had ridden the Harley from Vega, Tx. to Fort Smith hoping to get a room there--SOLD OUT. We accidently got off at the wrong exit and was glad we die. The lady at the front desk was more than helpful. I asked for a room on the ground floor but all she had was a disabled person room. I gladly took it and spent a restful night there. I wish we had time to visit areas around there. There are some attractions nearby. This motel sits 3 miles from the interstate, but is easily reached. Nice clean room and reasonably priced !!

This is a great little motel. Like its sign says, "A Nice Place." We travel with our dog and love a ground-floor room with an outside door we can park right in front of to unload. We called during the day on the road to make a reservation for one night. The woman at the front desk gave us exactly the room we wanted and was gracious. The place was clean, roomy (two queen beds), had a fridge and a microwave and also a desk I could do some work at. The flat-screen TV had good reception. The beds were fine, firm, with clean sheets.

I typically stay in a Hilton family hotel when traveling for business, but the closest one to Ozark is several miles away. I decided to take a chance and go local. I was not disappointed. It is no Hampton Inn, but it is nicely maintained with a very helpful staff. Room was very dated but clean. Probably could use new carpet and a fresh coat of paint, but those are cosmetics that are easily fixed. There were several staying the same night as I did, but it was very quiet with no distractions. Slept perfectly. I will stay there again as I travel frequently to this area for business. Sorry Hampton.
