I liked the convenience and staff. I did not like the open gates to the trash bins and the loud guests above me.
Great stay, considering the times. Unlike most places these days, they had a savory item for breakfast - croissant, sausage and egg sandwiches. I toasted the croissant in the toaster and nuked the rest and it was pretty good! Same items everyday except there was either fruit or yogurt. Still, considering the breakfast at other places we've stayed at during covid, I was happy. The room was in good condition - a little worn and outdated, but I was very happy to have a full kitchen. It had pretty much everything we needed. Good toiletry items, good shower pressure, super cold a/c. Very friendly staff! Very convenient for golfing, but a little bit far for shopping. Still, I would stay again when in the area.
I didn't find staff to be very welcoming or friendly. At check in they took my card, issued my keys, and handed me a flyer with all the hotel orientation information on it - but the flyer didn't explain what was open or closed due to covid. When you get to your room there's a pamphlet that advertises complimentary hotel cocktail hour several days a week, but that was closed due to covid. But the staff didn't explain anything that was different due to covid. All the previous reviews about the breakfast sounded pretty negative so I didn't even attempt to get the free breakfast. As for the room - it has a full size fridge, dishwasher, small cooktop and microwave and the kitchen comes furnished with a small array of bowls, plates, mugs and cooking utensils. The lighting is very dark throughout the room and the A/C and dishwasher are loud so its hard to be on a conference call in your unit if the appliances are running. The bottom of the dishwasher looked pretty gnarly and heavily calcified with hard water and stains. Overall I appreciate the utility and convenience of a kitchenette but it didn't really seem in the best of upkeep. Combined with the low lighting and unfriendly staff I would only recommend staying here if you're in a bind.

Excellent front desk service, very accomodating, and very.clean and spacious units. Beautiful views out to the golf course.
Beautiful studios that have a condo-like feel. Very clean throughout the entire property. Super cozy. To top it off, the manager was very accomodating and polite in spite of how busy he was.
Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with kitchen Close to shopping.
The units are great with the full kitchen and lots of storage

Nice hotel on the grounds at River Ridge Golf Club. Breakfast in the morning and several pools and Jacuzzi's. Only minutes from the beach and Ventura Harbor.

Didn't have any info on Oxnard area. But decided to stay there on our way to Solvang. Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel and the area. The room was nice and cozy, all my family were satisfied with the room given to us. Staffs were friendly. I would like to go visit again someday when I have a chance.
