Great Experience for the Whole Family

We stayed here as a family of four and had such a wonderful experience that we’re already talking about coming back. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind — it really set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself was spotless, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Breakfast was a daily highlight! There was such a delicious variety — fresh fruits, eggs, different breads, waffles, and pancakes — something for everyone. Our kids especially looked forward to it each morning! One of the best parts of our stay was the pool. Our children absolutely loved it, and the hotel kindly let us enjoy a final swim even after checking out, which meant a lot to us. It gave us a chance to stretch out the fun just a little longer. The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to Port Elgin’s beautiful main beach, and very close to grocery stores and a great selection of restaurants downtown. Everything we needed was right there. This trip was about creating family memories, and this hotel played a big part in making them so special. We felt cared for, relaxed, and completely at ease. Highly recommend for families looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Fantastic location, just a 5-minute drive to the beach, with restaurants and grocery stores close by. The heated pool was a lovely bonus, and the rooms were clean. Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. Breakfast was good. Overall, the experience felt more like a 4-star hotel. Would definitely stay here again!.

The only problem was smoking out front, you have to walk pass anyone smoking to use the front entrance.

Good for a cookie cutter hotel. Front staff was very friendly but staff during breakfast were a bit bothered to help out. Maybe it was an off day. Clean rooms and for the most part, clean bathrooms. We needed an extra set of towels (4 guests, 3 sets of towels) and called for an extra set. We were told that we’d have to come pick it up if we wanted anymore which I found was inconvenient especially for the high price point of such a basic hotel. The area is also very quiet at night. Even the nearby neighbourhood of SouthHampton was a ghost town.
