Amazing place!

I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's and bed and breakfast type places, but I have to say that this was easily the best I've experienced. I showed up and the table was already set for me and the dinner was amazing (I didn't even know that dinner was included). The host Claire and her husband were very hospitable and welcoming and offered a free shuttle to the airport, both ways.

La perfection

Je suis arrivé à minuit à l’aéroport à ma sortie de l’aéroport le chauffeur etait là comme prévu avec la pancarte kangourou, je savais que j’allais arriver tard et que la cuisine serait fermée (elle ferme à 22h) j’avais demandé un peu de pain et de fromage dans ma chambre , à ma grande surprise l’hôte nous avais préparée un festin de roi (tajine , soupe marocaine , fruit frais ) tout était parfait alors que je ne m’attendais pas à ça , le chauffeur souriant et efficace, la cuisinière excellente et très serviable , l’hôte nous a accueilli avec sourire et bienveillance. Mes enfants et moi étions agréablement surpris tout était parfait . Merci beaucoup.

The owners of the property are lovely, and our driver was on time to take us to the airport. Dinner was great, served outside and cooked on premises, very enjoyable. The property and rooms themselves though are outdated and tired. An old washroom which really needs to be updated, super hard beds, and just generally a run-down room. Casablanca was under a heatwave when we were there which meant the AC was just blowing air and not cooling at all. The owner kindly got us a fan, but 44c outside and no AC was unpleasant. I understand that this is unusually hot for Casa, but it was a bad experience.

We enjoyed an amazing one night stay at Riad Tanjil, following a two week tour of Morocco. We chose this Riad for our last evening, as it was conveniently located near the airport and made for an easy and convenient drive to catch our flight in the early morning. A complimentary airport transfer was included, with the driver ready and waiting to take us to the airport at 5:45am. The property is gorgeous, with a lovely pool, lush surroundings, and resident peacocks roaming the grounds. A wonderful, flavourful, authentic Moroccan meal was served in the evening - one of the best dinners we had in Morocco. The owners are friendly and accommodating; Rooms are comfy and private. Overall it was a perfect stay to cap off a busy and exciting tour of the country. A hidden oasis and little piece of paradise outside the hustle and bustle of Casablanca.

This is not your usual airport overnight stay! Owner arranged pick up for us arriving from the train from Marrakech. We got off in Berrechid and driver picked us up, pre negotiated rate. We arrived at the riad and greeted by Fatima. She also cooked us our dinner which was really delicious! (A highlight actually, we ate every single last grain of rice. It was chicken tangine, rice, bread and soup. Simple but really well done!) This seemed to be included in our booking which was nice because there are NO options for anything in the area. Literally you are in the middle of the fields and farms. You are about 10 minutes from the aiport but don't hear the planes. The riad is also a sort of /farm/zoo. There are multiple cats, at least 4 peacocks, chickens, guinea fowl and dogs. We loved the peacocks, even though they shriek like crazy. There is a giant pool, cool water but it was still so nice to jump in. Only downsides were that the rooms were definitely dated, beds are hard (but this is just Morocco) and the bathroom needs updating. Shower was rusty and honestly just needs to be replaced. Owners were nice people, other reviews seem to rave about them but we had very little interaction with them. Staff/owners spend time sitting scrolling on their phones, which we didn't see elsewhere on our travels but I suppose up to them! Drive to the aiport was also included and Simo was on time and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay to be close to airport and avoid Casablanca.

Wow--this place is a gem. It was the perfect place to end our vacation with a free airport shuttle. It is a small guesthouse (6 rooms maybe?) run by Claire and her husband. They are delightful--so friendly and warm. We had dinner and breakfast here (both fabulous). The pool is quiet and idyllic, with the peacocks and chickens making the only sounds. The inn is filled with beautiful Moroccan rugs and furnishings, bed was comfy, and bathrooms clean and modern. They offer tours to other Moroccan cities too. We didn't have time, but judging by the kindness of the staff, I'm guessing it would be worth one's time. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay near Casablanca airport

If you need to stay near the Casablanca airport, look no farther. This is a lovely riad with a beautiful garden and pool. They were very prompt to pick us up at the airport. We had some time in the morning and went for a walk in the surrounding countryside which is quiet and peaceful.

Perfect place for everyone visiting Casablanca!

This place is a hidden gem! Perfect place for an overnight or even week long stay! They offer pick up from the airport and delicious dinner and breakfast! They even offer to take eon tours of Casablanca which we took advantage of and it was a fun filled day before headed back to the airport! Great people and place to stay!

Awesome place!

I only stay as a layover for an early flight and got a hotel near the airport. It is. But the service, the food, the transportation was amazing. I wished I could have stayed longer but this def a hidden gem to stay. It is not too near Casablanca, but everything else is fabulous!

Beautiful retreat. More like a Bed and Breakfast. Perfect for travelers as the property offers free transportation to and from the airport. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Property is enclosed and surrounded by beautiful flowers. Peacocks, grouse, and chickens roam the yard. Had a pleasant chat with owner. My husband and I have decided we will definitely stay again.

My husband and I are completely blown away at the hospitality and quality of our stay at Riad Tanjil. What started as an 18h layover in Morocco, became a beautiful experience of culture. We are so thankful that Simo waited so long for us to get out of the busy airport. Thanks to Claire for our chitchat and the lady who made us breakfast. Most of all, biggest thank you to Kebir, who is the reason that I’m writing this review. For an additional charge he will take you on a tour of the best parts of the city. No need to barter, because it was so worth it! For his expertise, connections, and just pure love of his country and showing others the best. He was not just our tour guide, he made the experience very special for us. We would love to come back and stay here again, but with more time to enjoy. This property has everything to make for the perfect getaway to marvelous Morocco ❤️
