Upon arriving at the hotel, we first found that there are stairs in the hallway that you have to lug your suitcases over to get to your room. Once we arrived in our room, I wanted to call downstairs to find out if the restaurant was open. The phone was dead. So I used my cell phone to try and get the front desk. No one ever picked up, and it kept going back to the automated answering service. I finally got ahold of the reservations desk. He tried to transfer me to the front desk. I stayed on hold for 8 minutes until it finally sent me back into the queue again. I called back and left a message for the customer service manager but was informed by her answering machine that she doesn't work Mondays and Tuesdays that I am sure ai won't hear anything until later in the week. The room itself was good, but the customer service left a lot to be desired for the amount of money you pay in this area.

My family stayed here for 2 nights . It was great! Rooms are big and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to walk to fun attractions. The lake is great and the scenery is amazing .

Our room was in the back of the hotel overlooking the lake. They must have upgraded us. Sensational. The rooms in the front overlook the lake too, but across the parking lot and road. We had a full kitchen. Breakfasts and dinners on the deck were a treat. It was possible to get wine made at vineyards just a few kilometres away. Mostly Osoyoos is a place for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and playing outdoors. Besides grocery shopping, all we did in the town was have coffee at Jojo's, on Main Street. Nice place. Good staff; good coffee.

For the price the property was extremely disappointing. The room was dated and old fashioned. The elevator from the underground parking was dirty and seemed as if it could be from any cruddy hotel in a slum area. The only thing this hotel had going for it was being positioned on a lovely beach. However, that’s not a plus in late September. I was extremely upset with the number of points we had to pay for this dingy crappy room.

Hello GlenWood, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, some rooms have 4 stairs down, and some even have 4 stairs up to the room in the west wing of the building. Our phones are two line phones, and there is a notice on the phone itself that indicates you must press line one to get a dial tone. The call volume at the front desk has been astronomical, and we are working on solutions to improve our lines of communication with our guests. I understand it is frustrating, and apologize. I do have your number from my voicemail, and will be calling you personally to apologize. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again soon.

I am not certain what happened during your stay, but this is certainly not the kinds of comments we here very often. I am sorry that you were disappointed. We do have a lot of satisfied guests, so I apologize for your experience.
