Spent 3 nights during our annual family trip. The room is very big. Spacious and clean. Shuttle bus to Osaka train station is convenient and also have limousine bus to the airport. So for those who finished shopping a lot at Osaka and don’t want to roll your luggage to go to airport via train, staying in this hotel will be a good choice. Will go stay there next time visit Osaka again.
地點極太方便!接駁車到大阪車站只到晚上十時! 附近什麼也沒有! 沒有wifi沒有USB, 2x LCD thick TV, U cant see from your bed for sure. Slippers so tiny, I cant even sqeeze in. Lamps need turn off one by one, go play find switch with them. 成間酒店so ugly, 大堂so small, check in location has a big big pole in the middle. 垃圾浴室,好舊 Service so damn bad, I drop bags in the morning, already give them passport and stuffs, second visit expecting to pick up room key, they redo everything again and i keep waiting and waiting. Oh come on. I dont see why other say their service good. No one tells me how to use the wifi or have shuttle bus, I have to figure all these out by myself.
The access is in Japanese and no automatically. Impossible to get it. The Hotel is good, but this fact bothered me a lot. Breakfast ok, bed ok, everything ok, but WiFi access should be easy to the guests. In my opinion they should made some changes right now.
This is a magnificent hotel. The location is close to Osaka station and to make it even easier the Hotel provides a shuttle bus service to Osaka station that runs every 15minutes. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathroom was fine with the shower and bath combined together.
We stayed in Osaka Westin for the first 4 days. Osaka Westin is located at 7 min walking distance from Osaka station. It is right next to the Umeda Sky Building and our room has amazing view. The hotel has shuttle bus to/from the Osaka station which is quiet useful if you have large luggage. (view from the hotel window. is attached no joke) We contacted this hotel before we landed for restaurant suggestion and Westin was really helpful and professional. The whole checkin was smooth and efficient. The check in girl walked us to our room and showed us the room facility which is very nice of her. We booked non-smoking room which was somehow not available. Westin offered us a free upgrade to the higher level king room. The room was huge. even compare to Australia hotel, I can still say the size is huge. I had great time here. the concierge was really helpful and professional. At least three type of language was spoken by the front desk during this stay: English, Japanese and Chinese. This is really convenient to none Japanese and illustrate the high quality of this hotel.
The rooms, views, beds all very nice. Some front desk people were more helpful and knowledgable than others. (I'm not sure how service would be if you don't speak Japanese) The downsides were the imminently forgettable breakfast buffet; the less than knowledgable dinner and activity recommendations by the concierge (we found much better on our own through web apps/other locals' recommendations); and the location is only really convenient for the train station. Otherwise it's a 1,500-2,000 yen cab ride to the more lively parts of the city.
Stayed in the Westin Osaka numerous times and have enjoyed my stay every-time. Location : The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk from Umeda. Pretty comfortable without luggage but advised to take the shuttle if you're dragging a suitcase as the walk requires one to travel up and down a underpass. F&B outlets plus shopping is easily found at Umeda Station and there is a large Yodabashi Camera that houses everything from electronics to clothes and shoes. The Stay : Rooms are large and decent sized and in my case, a large King Sized bed. I had ample rest and un-disturbed sleep during my stay at Westin. The Staff : Staff was very professional and I would compliment the hotel staff for being so professional. Well Done Westin Osaka!
Everything about the hotel was perfect. The hotel is stunning, the staff is very helpful and nice (upgraded us to a "corner suite" for free). The rooms are big and confortable rooms, with an amazing view to the city. Great breakfast.
Stayed here for a quick work trip in December. Enjoyed the location, and the surrounding neighborhoods around the hotel. I found the hotel overall to be a little dated, and in need of some upgrades especially in the rooms. The carpets were a bit worn, the curtains a little old and overall the hotel room felt like something from the 1990s versus 2017. The breakfast buffet in the morning was incredible, and I would highly recommend it if you have a voucher. The price out of pocket seem very expensive. It was my first time to Osaka, so I have no hotel to compare it to. I did find the people in the hotel and in Osaka in general to be very friendly nice and fun. Definitely worth the trip.
Nice hotel. Excellent free transport to and from station - every 15 mins from morning to night. Something more hotels should do. Also free transport by bus to airport. Staff very friendly and helpful.
