Just landed, rented a car to start our Japan trip and got there in the evening. The hotel has an underground parking (2000yen/one night ) We were upgraded so we got a mini suite on the 21st floor with a great view. The room was big and comfy. Everything you needed was there in the room and great amenities in the bath. The breakfast was very good. Mixture of western and Japanese cuisine (the little udon soup was great) The hotel is centrally located near the sky building if you want to go up and see the view. Highly recommend!!
Large bedroom with king bed. Comfortable and quiet. All the facilities of a large 4 star hotel. Staff were responsive to a couple of problems such as room bedside light that wouldn’t go off . Location worked for us as we were liked being slightly away from the busy Osaka station. Restaurants nearby full of locals that were worth exploring.
Very nice and comfortable hotel. Extremely friendly stuff. Location is great and so is the breakfast. We have stayed couple of nights and we were very pleased. The room is very big the beds are comfortable with the exact level of hardness. The bath room has a hall which is also nice and not very common.
Hotel room is spacious, free shuttle to osaka station, taxi costs 680yen to nearest Narita airport limousine station if you cannot catch the airport shuttle from the hotel. In-room dining has very limited choice after 11pm. Breakfast is good. Express service is good and usually staff answer right away.
Very nice Westin, fancier than the usual Westin's in the US but a bit more pricey as well. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, we had somehow booked a room on their executive floor which has its own private lounge area where they serve breakfast, afternoon tea and treats, appetizers and a complimentary cocktail before dinner all included in the price of the room. Hotel room itself was king sized with lots of little extra amenities in bathroom like toothbrush, hairbrush, shave cream, etc. Staff was extremely pleasant and nice and food was very good as well. Good location next to downtown and they also had a free shuttle bus to and from the Osaka train station which was very helpful as there are lots of restaurants and shops around the station. Another little added bonus was the lovely Japanese garden right outside the back of the hotel which was very pleasant and peaceful to walk through. Overall a very nice night in a great hotel!
I spent there one night. Hotel was near to Osaka train station (umeda) and shuttle was really nice surprise. Staff was really nice and helpful. I did big mistake and i ordered smoking room but when i eent there they found non-smoking! My room was on the 22nd floor and pretty big, bathroom was huge!! Gym was good and pool was tall, small minus is that you have to pay if you want to go gym or/and swimming. There was japanese brekkie and also european, really good and lot of different things. Really clean hotel. If i'm going to Osaka, i'm going back to that hotel! Bed was really comfortable and soft.
The front desk was a bit confused as we had quite a few additional bookings and booking changes, on top of the original ones. Ms. Chin, a Chinese speaking lobby manager quickly stepped in and sorted things out in a very efficient manner. She even waited when the front desk staff were preparing our door keys. I have been to a number of good hotels in Osaka, including the St Regis and Intercontinental. This kind of service dedication goes way beyond my expectation. For this, I would like to thank Ms. Chin and other staff of Westin Osaka. A truly fantastic job.
This is a hotel a bit off Umeda, but with convenient shuttle bus connection to Umeda. It is a bit aged, but is still nice and charming. The most impressive part is its service. All of the staff. Yes, all of them are willing to do something extra just to make sure that you are covered. We checked in in a 15 person group. After much trial and error in trying to find a hotel in Osaka, I settled on The Westin. I wanted to spend less, but was frustrated by the reviews of so many cheaper hotels, the size of the beds offered, and the issues of air conditioning and noise. I am soooo happy I choose The Westin. My husband and I stayed here with our 21 year old daughter. We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, with two full sized beds. These beds were larger than many of the beds offered in typical Osaka twin rooms. We stayed on the 14th floor and had an amazing view of the city, looking toward the train station. The shuttle to and from the station was a great feature and we used it tons. The service from every employee was exceptional. We were helped by the concierge twice and that too was exceptional. We arrived early, checked out bags and went straight to the Umeda Sky building, which is connected to The Westin by a beautiful garden. We ate lunch in the food court of the Umeda Sky building. There is a Family Mart and 7-11 right by the hotel. We did not eat in the hotel except for room service one day. It was very expensive, but good. If you can, eat at the wonderful Italian restaurant, Alto Tritone, across the street from the hotel. It was a great find so close to this great hotel. I'm so happy we stayed at the Westin Osaka.
Friendly staff with great service from check in to departure. Concierge staff is at hand to help with every query and request. Shuttle bus service to the JR Station is really useful. Room is spacious with comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Osaka.
