We came here as part of a tour however we were happy with it. It was located close to some retail outlets which had pretty good prices. Breakfast was quite good and we had a good night's sleep here. All in all it was a good hotel.
This hotel is located next to Rinku station, 800 m to Rinku seacle town with onsen, about 1.5 km to Rinku premium outlets. The hotel offers shuttle services to the Kansai airport . Parking is behind the hotel. Basically you pull a ticket and present to front desk upon exit for free passage. The hotel also has a 24 hour convenient stall on the second level whereby you can get drinks, snacks ,ice-cream, bread etc. Upon exiting this convenient stall, you can walk across a bridge to a huge duty free complex opposite selling toiletries, foodstaff, baby goods etc. Tax free is only if you purchase more than 5000 yen. The room is comfortable with amenities like a fridge, hotpot ，small TV. No mineral water is provided though there is an ice machine on the same floor. Wifi is good. Bed is comfortable with two pillows each. Breakfast starts at 6:30 am earliest. The spread is adequate with both Japanese and Western dishes to start the day. Overall a good stay considering the price.
Nice hotel. I got for good price which was worth. There is a convenience store at 2nd Floor to buy emergency items which runs 24 hour. Staffs are very nice and our room got a nice night view. Near to aiport, shuttle bus available.( we missed last shuttle bus still over night bus available exclusively for washington hotel for 500 Yen.) Very near to Rinku Town station 1 min walk. Buy Osaka pass from Rinku Station and travel.
We were impressed and surprised with the standard of the hotel after the number of negative reviews we had read. Our non-smoking rooms did not smell bad, our rooms were clean and our free shuttle bus was there early and left punctually. Staff spoke English and were polite. The bed was very comfortable Wifi was fast.. The hotel was close to the tube station and the shopping outlet.. We were happy with the hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Stayed last week and found that the hotel is now basically full of flight crew and large tour groups from China. Furthermore, the policies and standards of the staff are inferior to other hotels in the area. Was scheduled to stay tonight and due to a typhoon in Hong Kong I was unable to fly. Will arrive in Japan one day later and the hotel refused to honor my booking because it was not 'made directly with the hotel'. Due to weather conditions this is very poor customer service and a shame to see standards so low in Japan where superior standards are the norm. For those staying near to KIX there are numerous other hotels and I would recommend steering clear of Washington Hotel as they are inflexible and standards have dropped.
Yes - the hotel is in a good location, especially for early flights out the next day. The staff was polite and provided good customer service. I'll stop there. The hallways and rooms are dingy and need updating. The hotel has a bad smell. The bed was the hardest surface I've ever slept on - and this comes from a critic who spent over 20 years in the military and has slept on the ground more times than I care to admit. Nevertheless, I could stay at mediocre hotel with a rock-hard bed for an affordable price. Unfortunately, I spent $200+ for the room. I didn't get my money's worth. Stay elsewhere until their ratings improve. You'll be glad you did.
We stayed here before catching our flight home the next morning and thought it was fantastic for the price. Twin bed rooms are relatively spacious, cosy, and clean. Staff were friendly and the hotel itself looks lovely. There is a FamilyMart in the hotel which was convenient. Had a free shuttle bus to the airport in the morning which was fast and comfortable. Great access from Rinku Town station as the hotel connects to the station via an elevated walkway. Travel to the hotel was easy via an airport express line that passes through Osaka Station and relevant Osaka Loop Line stations. Overall we were very impressed with this hotel considering what we paid for.
After the trip to visit the Kyoto , my family and I decided to stay here for a night . It was a convenient hotel for catching the early plane the next day . We took the train and found the location of this hotel. It is easy to access . The lobby is very specious but the receptionist is not that friendly at that day we checked in . In the next morning we had the breakfast buffet which was not many choices and also all the food was salty . The location is really good for the early plane catcher . Hopefully they can do some adjustment of their staffs.
This is an airport hotel and as such provides the things that one wants when flying or arriving late. Access is easy via train to Rinko Town but you do have to look for the name. It is not the first hotel you come to but the large building beyond. Easy access via escalator. Rooms are adequate there is a buffet for dinner. There is not much around the hotel so this is probably the best option for eating. The shuttle is efficient. But it does get busy. Also we booked for 6.25am and when we came down just after 6.05am the previous shuttle was stll waiting so maybe they run a bit late! But I would certainly recommend this as an airport. hotel.
If you need time to kill while waiting for your flight, this is the perfect hotel for you which includes an excellent array of hot, asian, north american and fresh fruits breakfast buffet. Our post cruise flight didn't depart until 4:30 PM so after we checked out, we secured (free) our luggage with the front desk and then headed for the Rinku Outlet malls. It was walking distance and easy to find and provided us a great opportunity to get those last minute "forgot to buy for" souvenirs. The variety of stuff and the food Courts were fascinating and delightfully dizzying. It certainly filled our time up. Definitely a great hotel with great amenities. The front desk staff were extremely helpful especially when we inadvertently booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking, and they scrambled around to ensure that we got a ns room. Free shuttle to the airport provided - you won't be disappointed!
