I have stayed in this property a number of times for a couple days each time. At first I thought it was more than decent enough considering the price and location. But when I unintentionally dropped my pen on the floor near my bed I noticed how dirty the carpet was. I saw dried up grains of rice probably food from previous occupants. I immediately wished I hadn’t found dropped my pen. I find the staff unwilling to lend a helping hand but they do comprehend basic English and will try to answer your questions and queries.
Very accomodating online staff. Did not charge us for extra kid. Spacious room. Large supermarket and restaurants nearby. Airport shuttle is free ideal for late night arrival. We wull definitely book again however it is fully booked on our trip schedule for 2018 so better book early.
Very typical Japanese hotel room - too cramped room area, it's difficult to walk around the bed getting things from your bags.. toilet door opens outward, leaving no space on the foyer once opened... all TV shows are in Japanese, only one English channel in BBC. . no free mineral water, you have to buy from the vending machine under the stairs at the lobby. . not complete toilet amenities. .
Stayed here for 1 night prior to an early morning flight from kansai, its a fairly functional hotel but the rooms were comfortable and its right across the road from a coop which was convenient. The airport shuttle at 5:30am was quick and ran on time.
Close to a big supermarket which is interesting to peruse! Beds comfy, good wi fi.... too warm like most Japanese hotels but we opened a window! Breakfast probably as good as you get in average Japanese hotels.
Small room which is clean but it was a sweatbox with no working air con. Bed and pillow hard and they would not give us an extra pillow which I needed for my broken rib. Awful. So glad to be leaving. Feeling wrecked.
This use to be a Ramada ..it is a little outdated furniture wise but the price is correct and the breakfast is superb.e the staff was right on hand and friendly but when i sent an email to inquire about the shuttle service from the airport i never got a response....i found the answer i needed later on the hotel website....last free shuttle is at 10.30 pm from the airport to the hotel , after that you need to take the train / only 2 station away and walk 10 minutes once you get to the station/ ask for a direction at the train station but it is really easy to find.
Clean, convenient hotel. Booked a twin single room for 2 and was upgraded to double room with 2 double beds and sofa on the 12th floor with a great view of the city and temple below. More than enough room for two. One interesting thing is that you had to place your bum all the way to the back of the toilet seat in order for the bidet to work (they had a sign placed on the bathroom instructing you) otherwise the bidet did not function. No problem, just strange, never had to sit so far back before. Others have complained about the "dated" style but actually found the room furniture quite charming, clean, and in good working order. Large bathroom with large tub, good for a nice long soak. Two train stops from Kansai Airport, 490 yen pp. 5 mins walk to Izumisano train station. There is a COOP supermarket across the "street" (more like a lane by American road standards), and another supermarket kitty corner to the back of the hotel on the same street as the temple. While they do have hotel shuttle very limited service hours so did not use them. Check in/out very quick and efficient. Ate dinner at hotel restaurant, tatami room, good food, good service, no English spoken but still able for staff and us to communicate. Did not partake of the breakfast in the morning. As others have commented not much in the way of tourist sights but enjoyed walking the city taking in Japanese life. The Rinku outlet shopping mall is the stop between hotel and KIX. High end outlets, not really our thing. Preferred wandering the SEACLE shops next to the outlet mall and riding the Ferris wheel. There are lockers and stores with baggage storage (300-400 yen per bag) so we didn't have to schlep our bags around while there.
Japanese are well known for excellent work ethics and i've experienced it in this hotel. Downside is they don't speak and understand straight english but you'll see that hotel staff do their best to understand and extend their help whenever needed. Grocery is just across the hotel so very convenient for anytime snack. Ramen house and post office is also accessible just in case anyone is interested😊
Very hot inside the room , very uncomfortable ,temperature was at 30 degrees celsius ,complained to the hotel staff to fix ac,they said airconditioning already deactivated and just to open the window to get air which was useless because it was also hot outside and the room was facing the sun, Staff was helpful and friendly
