Excellent, clean hotel with superior service, close to Osaka Castle (Osaka Jo). The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Osaka Jo Park JR City Loop Line Station. JR Osaka Jo Park station is 8-10 minutes (4 stops) from Osaka Station. There is an elevator from the train platform up to the station but no immediately accessible elevator or escalator down to street level. This can be a problem for those with luggage. However, if you walk straight out the station towards Osaka Castle, take the elevated walkway on the left side towards the Tully’s instead of taking the stairs to the ground level, then walk past the Tully’s and you will see an elevator to the ground level. You can also reach the hotel by subway; Osaka Station is at the Umeda subway stop. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Osaka Business Park Subway station exit 1. You can take escalators to ground level at Exit 1. Take the Midosuji line at Umeda to Shinsaibashi, transfer to the Nagahori-Tsrumiryokuchi Line and proceed to Osaka Business Park. This trip is about 3 longer than taking the Osaka Loop Line but if you have luggage the escalators are easy to find whereas finding the elevator described above at the Osaka Jo stop is challenging to newcomers. Breakfast is far too expensive for one in their 50s with a modest appetite – about $39 at the hotel or $30 if bought with the room. Breakfasts at hotels of this caliber are typically excellent; I’d gladly pay about $15 but not $30-$39.

Personnel at this hotel are top notch--very accommodating, kind and just classy! The fact this hotel is quiet attests to not being in neighborhood living spaces--mainly office towers and attendant eateries serving working people. Still, the Osaka-jokoen train station is nearby and on the JR Osaka Loop line and the castle is very accessible.

Hotel staff treat you like royalty, the ambiance was awsome. Be sure to check out the restaurants at the top level with a great view of Osaka Castle.

Nice and clean hotel near train station and Osaka Castle.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel. We only had 1 day of vacation in Osaka, as part of our East Asia trip. We arrived a bit early and had to wait until check-in time with many other guests, as it was strictly followed. The concierge spoke great English and helped refer us to multiple dining options around the hotel. However, this was the only hotel on my 22-day trip that required a special request to obtain an adapter and the only hotel that required additional fees to use the gym and/or pool. Furthermore, the shower water pressure was way too strong and non-adjustable. If I could redo my booking, I would look for a hotel closer to Dotonbori.
