Villa Margot

Situated on top of hill with tight driveway, be carefull if you are renting a car! House is in good order with most items you will need for an extended stay.Pool is intimate and has a good view of the bay. Living room has no A/C so difficult to get comfortable with no sea breezes and only floor fans. All bedrooms are nicely appointed and have a good cooling system . We were a party of 8 and enjoyed our stay at Villa Margot.

Beautiful view, not as advertised

I will start with the cons:The owner lives next door. Their pool area looks on the rental pool areaNo shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotionWe lost power 3 times. Once because of the utility company, twice because of the property amenities We lost wifi once. Not clear on the reasonWashing machine was in a strange location with unclear instructionsUpstairs loft room is very noisy as the house backs onto a main roadBeach chairs & umbrella had to be requested Lastly, and what ruined the experience for us was the house is not what is advertised. The listing states we were to get the entire house, with 4 bedrooms. Upon arrival the owner met us at the door to open the house (because there is no door code) and we had to request the 4th bedroom be unlocked. For the rest of the vacation, we were continuously asked for additional fees for use of the whole house.Pros:Great, fully stocked houseAir conditioners in the bedrooms were great to keep you at the perfect temperature all night longGreat parking The pool area has a view of the bay and the ocean. Absolutely beautiful Easily walkable to the beach, market, and restaurants
