The view from our room was amazing
We love this location and this resort. It’s perfect ! Views are amazing and walking to orient beach is exactly what we want. The unit we were in this year needs a bit of updating but it’s super clean .
Room was kept clean.Location ok but a difficult walk to the beach.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was not the best but there were plenty of other options within walking distance, so it was not really a problem.

Overall we are very pleased with our stay; breakfast could be more variable and by 9am it was almost gone considering that it lasts until 10; staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had a great time at La Plantation . The view of the plants and flowers from the very private porch was beautiful. A short walk to the beach early each morning was a great way to start the day. Then it was back to the restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
This hotel is so quiet and quaint! We've been there at least 6 times and every time we arrive, it is like coming home!
This was our sixth year staying at La Plantation. We very much like the peaceful setting and convenience to Orient Beach, a short walk away, and the closeness of Grand Case for wonderful dinner experiences. The day always starts with a nice breakfast and coffee on the terrace by the pool, then off to one of St. Martin's beautiful beaches. We have found the rooms to be comfortable and the deck a great place to relax when one has had enough sun. We will be back next year!
Great spot on a great island. They aren't on the beach, but I wasn't interested in paying twice as much to be beachside. 5 min walk from Orient Beach. The 'studio' I had was huge with partitioned bedroom, and combo living room/kitchen. Friendly staff. Even the security guard took the time to golf cart me to my room & explain everything when I checked in at 11pm.
Excellent Breakfast (food), a little slow/lazy service. The facilities are well kept and the villa/room was beautiful with great balcony that provided a great view of the beach and the surroundings. Walking distance of everything beach, small stores and restaurants.
I have been to the island about 10 times and like to try different properties. I love the Orient Beach area and usually find myself in or around that location. I arrived around midnight and was greeted by security who showed me to my room, btw had a great mattress. It was not the room I had requested however the next morning everything was sorted out, including an upgrade to a lovely suite. They really went above and beyond, it was greatly appreciated. The front desk staff were lovely, as well as the manager, wait staff and room staff. Thanks to all!
La Plantation offers great food at their restaurant, the environment is surrounded by plants. An ideal hotel for relaxing.
This hotel was recommended by someone who frequents SXM and has stayed at the hotel before. I wanted to be close to Orient Beach but get a good deal and this definitely worked out. It looks just like the pics, so no frills but clean and neat. The mosquito net is a must as the vegetation around the hotel is lush. The toilet didn't flush properly and the WIFI did NOT work in the room at all (not good since the cable is basic) so on a rainy day there is not much you can do in the room. Other than that, I would stay again.

This place was really great. What the pictures don't show is that every morning you gather around the pool for breakfast and beyond the pool in the background are enormous green, verdant mountains. Absolutely beautiful background in the morning. Also, right down the street is a charming town center that is oh-so French in feel. My boyfriend and I travel often to France and with this being the first time in St. Martin, we didn't know what to expect. When we made the 5-minute walk to the center of the small town (or rather village), we came upon a fully stocked market with french wines and french products for very good prices. And across the street, a charming pedestrian plaza with about six restaurants ranging from thai to italian to french cuisine. A wonderful surprise for lunch and for dinner. Also, the beach is only a minute by foot further beyond. The hotel was extremely generous in their meals, courtesy and ability to help out with information. Highly recommend.
