Beautiful location, oceanfront! Really, the ocean was only about 20 yards away.
It was great access to the beach, but that was about it. One of the reasons I choices the hotel was for the pool and hot tub, which were closed. I wish they had said that on their website.

When I called the manager, Nathan, in advance, to inquire about an upper room, he was positive that they could accommodate us. When we arrived and we were given a lower room. We checked it out and found food crusted in the couch, and dirty windows. I went back to the front desk, to ask the nice female employee for help. She then found an upper room with a king size bed available. Yet she called her manager(Nathan) to ask his permission, and mentioned our Orbitz affiliation. He then declined to give us the upper room that he had previously promised to accommodate, if possible. It seems as though our Orbitz affiliation put us in second class citizen status. I was startled by Nathan's unwillingness to serve us, after all. This motel used to be pristine and spotless in word and deed. It has changed in 4 years since I was here last. The furniture was worn and unpolished. It had a much more casual feel with employees sharing the steam room and the obvious decrease in service that I so enjoyed in previous years. Expensive. A dissapointment. Gone downhill.
Hotel looks new but to our surprise it was not the suite had stained mattress/box spring cobwebs amd spiders in room. We thought it had 2 mattress side by side but this had 1 full bedroom and a hideaway bed in the outer room all this would be ok of sharing a room with other adults,but we have 2 small children. We were kept up all ight by very loud guests yelling and screaming. Also another thing to consider sidereal is since it's an older hotel get a higher level we were on bottom and you literally could here people walking across the floor ALL NIGHT long so loud it was like they were in your room. Extremely expensive for what we got. Our total bill for 2 nights was $475.15 from Friday night to Sunday morning. Only reason I chose this hotel from other was it was right on the beach and it has a big name. To my surprise the town has many local nice on the bench hotels for probably cheaper and same quality if not better. Parking is also horrible they didn't have enough space to accommodate all the customers.
Our room at Best Western Plus exceeded our expectations. We weren't expecting to have a separate room for the main queen bed with it's own bathroom. There was another full bathroom off the kitchenette and a queen sized Murphy bed in the living area. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for four people to move around. The balcony faced the ocean and it felt great to leave the doors open and listen to the waves. It was well worth the price.
The name says it all BEST WESTERN! Beautiful suite with a fantastic view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable, water in the shower was wonderfully hot, the room at a perfect temperature! Refrigerator, sink, two rooms.. And the motel was off the main road...it was a shame really that we had stayed only one night! I wanted to stay a couple of days! Book best Western Plus, (the name says it all) Lincoln Sands Suites in Lincoln City! The perfect place to stay!
Took my elderly aunt out for a weekend of wine tasting and gambling. The room was very clean and it had handicap accessibilities. Very comfortable beds and the continental breakfast was great. The hotel staff was very friendly. Great weekend!
The sand was nearby and the food was average. I found the hours for pool were tight.
Spent time in Lincoln City, Tillamook, Newport and of course on the beach.
