The hotel was fine for the price. The Italian restaurant that was attached was great. The only issues were very little parking and hard to get in and out of because of traffic.

My wife and I stayed at this property for one night during our trip around Ireland. The room was small, with two separate beds and a compact bathroom, but it provided everything we needed. The heating worked well, which was a welcome detail considering the weather on the day of our arrival. The reception staff were friendly, and the private parking within the hotel grounds was definitely an advantage. What I found surprising, however, was the hotel’s policy of requesting debit or credit card details including the CVC code at check-in, supposedly as security against potential damages. I declined to provide the CVC code, as this is essentially the same as handing over the full card and PIN. The receptionist then called the manager, whose reaction was rather unpleasant. He insisted that “this is Ireland” and that such practice is standard in all Irish hotels. When I asked for a refund so that we could look for alternative accommodation, he eventually softened his approach and admitted that this information was not actually necessary. It is worth noting that no other hotel in Ireland, or elsewhere in the world, has ever required me to provide such sensitive information, and I find it difficult to understand why this property would. This experience is the main reason for my lower rating.

The property is in the middle of a super fun area filled with great bars and restaurants. It seemed like many locals loved the area and several bars had live music! The parking was extremely limited and we had to park on the street the last night but it was only a short walk to the hotel and was free, so not terribly inconvenient. Highly recommend!

Great local choice in Oranmore

Clean but small room adjacent to the cemetery was quite a fun experience. Staff was great and the breakfast option worked well with our schedule. Only one small item worth the outlet for the hair dryer being too far to use with the one available mirror. Also very limited parking (first come first served)

Room was clean and fairly spacious bed comfortable The plug in the bathroom was stuck and was full of water so we had to brush teeth over the bath we did report it but we only dyed one night so don’t know if it got fixed We were woken up really early by barrels being loaded and unloaded as we were at the front of hotel really noisy Had a nice meal in the restaurant

Great boutique hotel

This hotel was lovely. The room was large, very clean and quiet. We were facing the street and didn't even hear the garbage collector. We ate dinner and breakfast in the bistro. Good food and good service. The only negative was parking. The hotel had very limited parking lot behind the hotel that required negotiating down a narrow portico and making a sharp left hand turn into a back lot. We were fortunate to get a small space as someone was just leaving. Pretty tight!

Unique hotel with a car park & excellent Italian restaurant. No a/c so it was very hot in the room & with the restaurant below we couldn't open the window much, but the hotel did supply a fan. The town had several dining options with a great coffee place across the street.
