6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
We were a group of six adults and two children under the age of five. The location could not have been better. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The house was perfect for our needs except for one thing. There was no central air conditioning and only some of the rooms had air conditioning units. The rest relied on fans. Ordinarily, I go to Maine for cool weather, but it was really hot (in the 80s) during our stay, and while it cooled at night, not enough. Advertising the house as air conditioned was misleading.some of the applications needed maintenance as well. The refrigerator had a notice to change the filter and the washing machine was moldy and leaked.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was not clean, the kids feet were black within an hour of checking in. The main lights in kitchen didn’t work so you couldn’t see when cooking or how dirty it really was. Grease was dripping down from the stove fan on to what you were cooking. There was pretty much no good lighting anywhere in the house. It was super hot and uncomfortable without true AC and the fans did not cut it. The doors not locking properly is not family friendly at all you had to be on constant watch with small kids to ensure they didn’t go outside. The overall stay was ok but wouldn’t recommend to families. The host was great with response but just too much wasn’t worth addressing every issue as they should have been handled before the stay. Great for like an adult friends group.
