Staybridge Suites Oklahoma City-Quail Springs3.0 out of 5.0

Since this was a suite, and we had stayed at a fair number of Staybridge Suites before, I expected better. The suite was very small -- perhaps because it was room we were given with our points and not one we paid for?? The TV, couch and bed were in awkward positions for watching TV. A semi truck outside our room was making a lot of noise. Even after the truck was turned off, there was still some noise from somewhere in the area. The toilet seat was plastic and not sturdy at all, so it didn't hold its position very well. When flushing the toilet, water was spit out on the floor. I tried to sit at the desk to use my laptop, but the chair was so low that I could barely reach the desk. Someone brought another chair, but it wouldn't adjust properly either. At 9:00 p.m. I decided to take a shower and couldn't get any hot water. I finally discovered that the reason was that the controller is installed wrong somehow, so you must turn the handle to "C" instead of "H" for hot water. Very frustrating! I expected better from Staybridge Suites.
Very clean, quiet and pet friendly! The pet fee for our dog was only $15.00 for the night we were there, which is amazing considering what other hotels charge. There are several restaurants, a mall and a liquor store within walking distance. It also has easy access on and off the highway and is only about 20 minutes from the outlet mall. Free breakfast buffet as well as a good cup of coffee and pop were also a plus. Staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay here again on future visits to OKC!
My daughter and I took her children to a two day athletic camp in OKC and stayed at the Statbridge Suites again, because we liked it so much on our last visit. This time, our room had a shower/tub combination and we liked it even better than our first visit. The breakfast is great and has a large variety of choices including, sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, rolls, and a large variety of fresh fruits. The lady that seemed to be in charge of the buffet was so friendly and stayed busy keeping food replenished and the buffet spotless. The hotel has been undergoing remodeling and looks very nice. Good service
Great place to stay, this is a truly suites motel, separate kitchen and sleeping area, Very well maintained great breakfast and social in the evening, with snacks and drinks. Pet Friendly and very quiet
We came here on the last leg of a trip. One of the best things about this place is the size of the rooms. Our suite had two very spacious rooms, with a door in the middle that could be closed for privacy. Also, there were ample TV channels to choose from, including multiple HBO channels. The rooms did feel somewhat outdated, and it may be time to consider updating some of the furniture. The chair in our room had some material peeling, and the table was somewhat faded. The thermostats had a little grime in them, not too bad but probably something that should have been cleaned. The free breakfast was OK. There was crispy bacon, biscuits and gravy and other items. Lots of drinks to choose from. Biscuits were hard, but other items seemed fine.
We stayed 4 nights in February, 21st thru 25th. It was very clean and so quiet! We stayed on the top floor and never heard anyone in the hallway or a door shut! Wow! The breakfast bar had a good selection and it changed daily! Nice to have a variety. We did take advantage of happy hour one evening. Appetizers were good and the beer was on tap! It was great! Our room was clean and neat, the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! Tip.. it is located near lots of shopping and restaurants galore!
Had two rooms at this location 2/11 and 2/12 with family. We love Staybridge and this is one of the better ones. Our check in was very friendly and the same desk clerk/manager, who seemed to work every shift during our two day visit, got to know us on a personal basis. The hotel is well laid out and beautifully designed. Our king room was large with all expected amenities including a full kitchen and seating area. Everything worked well and was both clean and well maintained. There are several bars, restaurants and nightly entertainment spots within walking distance of the hotel. Access to downtown is quite convenient with many major highways nearby. Will try to stay here again when in OKC area.
Very clean hotel with a good selection of complimentary breakfast items. Be aware, they have "low flow" toilets and tend to stop up very easy. Also, no maintenance guy with plunger there in the evening or during the night. We had to change rooms due to the toilet stopping up five minutes after we arrived. The bar/restaurant that shares the parking lot was fun with live bands on Friday and Saturday night.
Have stayed here many times and have had good experiences. Our recent visit was good but operation is slipping in some areas. If you want peace and quiet ask for top floor. Some folks just have no consideration after 11pm for quiet time. Housekeeping neglected to install the plastic inside insert in the shower curtain and we found a child's toy on the desk chair in the suite upon initial entry. Attention to detail needed before declaring the room "ready". Biggest issue was breakfast. Several mornings in a row I had to point out that several coffee dispensers were empty and at critical times people were cued up waiting for eggs . Replenishment could be anticipated better before items go to zero. There are 2 staff in kitchen so manning not an issue. I have seen better at this location in the past. Overall nice property and pet fees were pet friendly unlike other Staybridges and brand X Hilton properties. Staff friendly!
I hesitated booking this room because I was traveling on i-40 and it seemed a bit out of the way, but the pet fee was so minimal and the reviews were so good, I decided to take the chance and I'm glad I did!! First off, it's a new hotel so every thing is new and spotless. It offers everything I look for in a hotel....good location (walking distance to the mall and tons of restaurants within walking distance), free wii-fi, free parking, free breakfast and REALLY comfortable bed and bedding. Low pet fee ($15) and lots of grassy areas for your pet. The free breakfast offered your standard eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, breads, cereals, yogurts but then it separates from the pack by offering fresh cut fruits and cheeses. Don't pass this hotel up...you would be making a mistake. One other thing, have a couple of dollars worth of change in your car because the turnpike that this hotel is off of has silly little tolls that don't accept dollars. There may be another way to get there but my gps had me going on that toll road
