This Inn has very clean rooms, comfortable beds, desk clerk was nice and helpful, plenty of parking, pet friendly, only stipulation is it can get noisy if you’re facing I-40. Good value for the money!
I called ahead because I needed to know if they would pick me up at the car rental office since my flight was so early. The gentleman I spoke with was lovely. Really helpful. Told me that the shuttle would pick me up at Hertz. My first experience with Mr Snarky shuttle driver was when he came to pick me up. He parked in the next lot and came to meet me in the Hertz Office. Although he saw me with two bags, a backpack and my dog, he never offered to help me, but walked ahead of me back to the van. My arrival was pleasant. Front desk clerk was very nice. Got to my room and was happy I was only going to be there for a few hours. The carpet was gross. Bring slippers! The water pressure in the sink was so slight that it was little more than a dribble. No ice bucket so I couldn't keep my drink for the morning cold. The bed itself was fine. The curtains didn't close properly so the light from the parking lot came in. The hotel was very quiet. I was amazed at the shower! It was fabulous! It was the highlight of the stay! I had Mr Snarky van driver on the way to the airport again. Very impolite.
Good price for a clean and comfortable hotel. We slept well and really have no complaints. The breakfast was good for a free meal. It has great access to the interstate with numerous places to eat within a mile. I would stay here again if in Oklahoma City
Closest to my the Airport, cheap at $78, breakfast included, it's handy. The mattress was firm enough for a good night's sleep. The room and bathroom were clean. The parking is free. The TV works. Basic and handy.
We were here on 1/26/18 and the front checked us in, gave us keys, and when one of the rooms was unlocked and entered there was a crackhead in the room! The vent in the bathroom on the wall by the towels was absolutely filthy.
I stayed here to catch an early flight. I signed up for the shuttle van the night before. The room had a single heat and air conditioning unit with no thermostat. There was no separate fan option, so all night long I was partially awakened as the heat came on with a roar (even on low) and then clanked off again. The really bad part was the next morning. There were five people who wanted a ride to the airport. Ten minutes after we should have left, I asked the desk clerk when the van would arrive. In order, I received answers of "Soon", "He's on his way", "He's on the highway", and finally "He's on I-40", none of which are arrival times. It turned out that the van driver had taken people to the downtown bus station, completely ignoring the people at the hotel who were signed up for the 5:30 and 6 am shuttle rides to the airport. When I complained to the clerk, her only response was to ask me what time my flight was. I pointed out that it was 30 minutes past when we should have left, and that I needed to be at the airport now. My flight details weren't any of her business. I finally walked to the terminal, about a mile away. No big deal, except that it was 15 deg that morning, which is why I'd wanted the shuttle! The other people who were waiting had small children and a baby; I don't know how or when they finally got to the airport.
My room was nice, but about as far away from the lobby as possible. The single luggage cart was kept by the lobby, more are needed, perhaps one by each elevator. My room was clean, however the two elevators I used were filthy. There was a lot of noise from I-40 so request a room on the side away from the highway.
Start by checking your expectations. This is an old motel, with a face-lift. It's clean, everything is in good condition, paint is in good shape, but the room and reception smell of old and the rooms are somewhat dark and a little sad. I guess my problem is that I'm used to go to "real hotels" so this was a little bit of a disappointment, but after I changed my mindset, I appreciated the good things about this hotel. Rooms are on the big side and I didn't have to pay extra for breakfast, parking or WiFi, so that's a bug plus. The breakfast was pretty good (except the coffee, which was atrocious), and the waffles were the best part of it. Beds are comfortable, sofa-bed not so much, even compared to other sofa-beds. I asked for a room in the back, to avoid highway traffic noise, and although that worked, this being a motel, nothing I could do to prevent the noise of the various pick up trucks running the engine for a while near my room, or people walking past my room's door talking loudly.
The front desk personnel were exceptional, breakfast was better than most that are included with room rate. Third floor room was very nice and up to date. I did notice that the sidewalks were very dirty and could use a good power-washing. We would stay there again!
Found this hotel as we were running through town. Great price and easy to find, with easy access to the freeway which is also the only downside as a little noisy from the traffic which is constant. Nice cooked breakfast and close to many attractions if you need a cheap few nights.
