We were a family of 8 and spent 2 weeks in this home. It is roomy and well set up. The washer and dryer was very convenient and the location is within walking distance to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and markets. The home is in a neighborhood on a hill so keep in mind that its a bit of a trek down to the beach and back up again but totally doable as long as you don't have knee or back issues. We did it daily with 3 young children (aged 4, 5 and 7) It would be difficult with a stroller or infants. There are 2 sets of concrete stairs near the house giving access to the community below. The ZR buses and mini-buses are plentiful and can take you almost anywhere. The house suited our needs so well and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it could use a few more kitchen basics and at times the host wasn't very prompt in replying. It was advertised as having a coffee maker but didn't, there weren't any good kitchen knives and the can opener didn't work. All in all, this was a wonderful home-base for our family for 2 weeks - would definitely stay here again. Oh, there is also AC in the house and it has a lovely covered patio where you can nap on a lounger and feel the gentle breeze.
