Just 20 minutes from the slopes of the Turoa ski field, this spacious holiday home is the ideal base for a family escape to the snow! The main living area is drenched in sunlight thanks to floor to ceiling windows, and sliding glass doors that open out to an expansive deck, complete with a picnic table for those summer getaways. Unfortunately there is no BBQ however a full kitchen to service your needs.

After a day on the slopes, there’ll be nothing better than lighting the fire, preparing a hearty meal in your fully equipped kitchen, and chatting about who had the best run of the day. Later, cosy up on the couch; the complimentary WIFI and TV with Freeview keeping you entertained.

A bonus living space on the mezzanine floor here at Chalet Gryon is the ideal haven for the younger family members. Enjoying the same warmth from the fireplace as the main living room, the kids will have a ball up here watching TV on the couch, lounging out on the bean bags, or playing a board game or two.

Property is spacious, everything we needed. Good beds, showers, plenty of parking. Some of kitchen equipment a bit limited. Stove could do with some maintenance, I think has been given a hard time by previous tenants. We would stay again.

Warm family home in the center of Ohakune

Our experience there was amazing. We found it very cosy and welcoming. Lots of space around the house and a great neighborhood. So close to town which was a great convience. The only down fall would have been the bunks were lose so the kids where gutted they couldn't go onto the top bunks just because it was unsafe but otherwise amazing house! Would definitely go back.

Wouah factor!

Excellent batch: clean, really spacious and well equipped. Warm with fire place and 2 heat pumps... really good linen and blankets! The batch is well located, close to the ski fields, close to town... a few board games and jig saws are available. Can only recommend highly!
