Located in the quaint village of Rangataua, Snowcano Cottage is the best of both worlds so close to the mountain but in the ideal spot for some peace and quiet.

This 3-bedroom holiday home has all the necessities, including Apple TV and WiFi to keep you and the family connected while on holiday, a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine for a fresh brew to start the day before you hit the slopes or the must-have wood-burner fireplace for those winter stays.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, Snowcano Cottage has plenty of room for the whole group or family to spread out. Then bring everyone together in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for shared delicious holiday meals. Keep everyone entertained with a selection of books, boardgames, Jigsaws and DVDs at the end of a busy day adventuring.

Set in relaxing rural surroundings, only a 5-minute drive away from the Ohakune Mountain Road, you'll be at the ski field car park in just 25 minutes. When you're not up the mountain enjoying the snow, try your hand at a horse trek with Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks located just around the corner. Ohakune's cafes, bars and local shops are also close by when you need supplies or don't feel like cooking.
