We loved our stay. The house was easy to find and close to town. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived with the host turning on the heaters.The spa was clean and tidy and was gratefully used by the teens.Would happily return to this place.

We had a great time at The Blue Door Chalet. The house is well equipped, heated and welcoming. We arrived with a heated house, which was very pleasant, especially with a baby. There is a range of games and books in case of bad weather. The bedding is perfect. We love the little "cabane" for kids/teen. We'll be back for sure.If I have to snipe, it would be nice to have a cot and a baby chair to avoid moving our house.The only thing was that the spa ran out of water and had a bad smell.

Bliss

Lovely property, homely and inviting. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and the heaters were already on! We are a family with four young children and it was the perfect. The spa was bliss after a day on the skis. Looking forward to coming back again

We have stayed at many Book A Bach locations around NZ, and this was by far the best. Everything clean and in working order. Instructions were all clear. My family had a fabulous time, and we will definitely be back!

Great little bach

We enjoyed our short visit in this cozy little house. It is obvious that it is owned and loved by someone, not just a rental property. Lots of nice personal touches throughout. We weren’t there for very long but had everything we needed. Lovely place.

great stay

new, tidy house in a good location, with good views. Enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the hot pool, it didn't look clean at all so we haven't used it. Otherwise, it was a great stay

Very comfortable stay close to town

What a wonderful place. Everything was lovely, new, clean and most of all warm. The drying room worked perfectly for our wet skiing gear. There was plenty of storage space for our stuff. Most importantly there was a powerful hot shower and the beds were super comfy. Almost forgot the immaculate and spacious hot tub. We had a great stay. Thanks Mark.

Property was a great spot. Nice and warm. Just a note...the locks in the spa were broken and we couldn't get the tv to go ( didn't find all the remotes until near the end) but instructions didn't seem to work. Played games so not too much of an issue.

Very nice and cosy

It was a little smaller than we expected but it was very nice and cosy and we were welcomed inside to it already being nice and warm. It was well furnished and we were provided with everything we needed. Overall a very nice little house to stay in with a young family.
