The sign says ensuite bathrooms however there is a sink in the room but shower/toilet is in the hall. There was one on every floor so if someone was using one, it was easy to find an open toilet. No elevator and I was on the top floor so that was rough. Clean and quiet,

Good location and clean. However, the property had a bad odour, which resulted in us buying an air freshener. Initial advert is misleading as it didn’t make it clear it was shared bathroom facilities. Pillows very thin and poor quality.

Stayed for a night. Friendly staff. It's an older building but still in good condition. Rooms are small but comfortable and have everything you need. Shared bathroom was very clean. Convenient parking lot next door.

Decent room, helpful hosts.

The guest house was comfortable and suited us well. It is a short walk into town, so location was good. Breakfast was good - select your cooked options and buffet of cereals/toast etc. Parking in Oban is clearly difficult. You could park in the car park right next to the hostel, although you have to pay £9 a day.

PS Waverley trip

Prime reason for trip was to Cruise on the paddle Steamer Waverley 3 trips. Danarle guest house was ideal for this as only 5 minute walk to North pier and 10 mins to railway pier and station Guest house was extremely clean an comfortable
