The Ion Bali Benoa is an excellent place to stay if you like the quiet atmosphere, the whole facility is kept clean and tidy , the rooms are comfortable and well maintained, the staff are very obliging and friendly, easy walking distance to restaurants, the beach and some small shopping places, the costing is amazing, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxed and quiet holiday.

The hotel is clean, has free hot/cold water distributors in the hallways, and the rooms are clean. There is also a clean, nice pool. The real issues are: bad wifi (the connection keeps cutting), and no sound isolation (so get ready to be woken up at 7 am by toddlers). That said, the value is good for the price.

Pool was very nice. Would be good to set up the poor bar again, might make people want to spend more time there? Room was tidy, smallish. We didn’t like the toilet / shower set-up with the one door for both. Mini fridge didn’t work at all - wouldn’t get cold. We didn’t complain so probably our fault. Rooms cleaned daily which was good around 2pm for our room on 5th floor. Rooftop bar is very limited to what it sells, but nice views. Plenty of nice dining places around the hotel which aren’t a far walk. We walked through the opposite hotel to get to the beach which was ok, not the cleanest beach in bali.

Nice little hotel in a very good area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room’s aircon had a bit of a chemical smell which was unpleasant sometimes. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful, albeit short stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. (Thanks Ady and all the staff) The rooftop bar and restaurant is fantastic with excellent food and service for very reasonable prices. The room and bathroom were very clean and the room was also very quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Sleep quality - excellent. WiFi is good. Laundry service available. Luggage storage available for late flights. Airport pick-up and drop off arranged for 150,000 rupiah. Will definitely stay again!

Pool bar not in use, but nice accommodation

Very good value for the price - comfortable room and lovely and clean which was a little bit of luxury after our hostels, and with a very affordable price tag. We had booked the hotel specifically for the pool bar, which they mentioned as a facility when we booked in but we got the pool and it was totally shut (looked like it had been for some time). We were told that it was too quiet to open which was obviously a huge disappointment. They brought up a bucket of beers for us which was kind, and placed a member of staff there for the 8 guests that there were, but we couldn't have any of the cocktails, and it felt really flat given that was our attraction to the hotel!

Reasonable quality at reasonable price

The staff was very friendly, but the room was a bit smaller than I expected but clean. Location wise not bad, plenty of bars with similar menu (mostly western) along the street, plenty of convenient stores as well. Internet only worked at lobby, room air conditioning not always cold. They provide free shuttle to and fro beaches at no cost, including to Pendawa Beach which is about 20 minutes away, this could be a big saving if going by taxi instead. But the pool and rooftop bar a bit underwhelming, pool didn't look clean enough. Unlike advertised in some websites, no proof needed for room-sharing couples. Overall, good bargain for this price range.

Great value for money, really nice.

Definitely worth staying in the area if you want to explore Nusa Dua etc. So much cheaper than the hotels near the main beaches and the hotel offers free shuttles (just book in advance). The strip itself isn't all that, cheap shops but the restaurants are all the same! Literally same menu same price. Staff here really friendly and helpful, happy to extend our check out 6 hours so we could relax before our flight and then give us an airport transfer. Rooms really nice and modern. Pool was a bit cloud and looks like dirty water but nice enough, could do with more sun loungers. Massive value for money though.

All the staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome. The premises are a bit run down in places - the rooftop bar for example, but the friendly staff more than made up for it. Thank you!
