Mixed thoughts .......
The apartment was clean and modern and brilliantly placed for accessing the city. It is less than ten minutes walk from the Central Square.
However, there were some issues which lead to us being disappointed and leaving a day early. I must make it clear that these comments relate only to apartment 81.
Apartment 81 is nothing like the picture shown. The living and dining space is much smaller than illustrated and the sofas are very basic and extremely uncomfortable. They are very small and very hard. It was not possible to sit and relax whilst watching TV in the evening. One had a rear leg missing and was propped up on a box.
Unfortunately, the whole apartment block is very noisy and in this flat, which is half below ground level, internal and external noises are very apparent.
The beds themselves were very comfortable but our bed had no mattress or pillow protectors and the bottom sheet was too small to be tucked in resulting in the sheet 'rucking' up and preventing a comfortable nights sleep. One pillow case was torn along one edge. Smaller things like loose door handles and no bulbs in lamps simply added to our disappointment.With just a little thought and effort, this apartment could be made so much nicer to stay in.
On a positive note, the kitchen was well stocked utensil wise and had a complimentary supply of coffee, tea, biscuits and milk etc. An allocated parking space is a great bonus.
We did enjoy our stay but the noise and uncomfortable furniture beat us. Sorry
