Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!

Good size accommodation in chalet building however rattling door when windy outside was very annoying. Reported to staff so no excuse if not now sorted out. Helpful and friendly staff. Shame gown not offered for use after using spa and waiting for treatment (which was great) A pleasant stay

We stayed with friends for 3 nights. The staff service and environmental was only what I can describe as superb. Set down a long tree lined avenue only gives a clue as to the lovely gardens and setting.

From a Returning Customer

We were a returning customer couple, since we had a great stay with them a few years ago. This time, the room available was upstairs and smaller, but with a garden view. The gardens are still kept very tidy and added to our pleasant stay. We had the dinner at the hotel which was excellent again. It is very easy to access the Park and Ride to get into the city centre (we were there for the revamped castle just recently reopened this summer). I highly recommend the hotel, which is apparently run by a family (according to the locals) and it shows in their care in maintaining the standard of the legacy their ancestors built over years.

We really loved our stay at Park Farm Hotel. The perfect balance of great service, excellent rooms and facilities but super relaxed and not stuff at all. The staff are a huge credit to this hotel - knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The wonderfully maintained outside space with lots of lovely trees and shrubs really add to the atmosphere - looking out at the Japanese maples from the jacuzzi was a really treat. The only suggestion is make is to offer a non-dairy milk and yogurts at the breakfast buffet for drinks and cereal. The staff kindly went and got some non-dairy milk from the kitchen but it would have nice to help ourselves from the buffet. Thanks for such a lovely time - we will be back for sure!

Our stay was amazing from the room to the staff and food. We ate in both the bar and restaurant, the food in both was plentiful and delicious! The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be going back!

Just returned from a weekend stay with my boyfriend and it was just perfect from start to finish. Lots of free parking and huge outdoor areas to explore. We had such a warm welcome by Karen on Reception. Our room was fantastic, a super size bed with a lovely balcony, a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good with all the options you’d expect from a cooked breakfast to continental. We used the spa facilities which were fab and not too crowded. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning.

The rooms without Aircon are at a disadvantage in the hot weather. I had some trouble getting an extra fan and the one that I was given had blades that hit the cover so it made a terrible noise. I managed to find a workaround but my first night there was not a good one. However, an extremely helpful member of staff on my second day sorted out a decent fan and some extra bottles of water. She really was so kind. The breakfast was delicious and the staff in the dining room were friendly and helpful. If you book a room with air conditioning you will probably have a 5* experience

Would recommend

It has a tree lined drive up to the hotel which was nice. Book in was quick and easy. Our room was through the back of the hotel in a courtyard and was like a chalet. The room itself was large as was the bathroom which had a separate bath and shower. It also had a little patio area with table and two chairs which we used as it was a lovely day. We arrived prior to the 3pm check in, but we were able to use the leisure facilities meanwhile. My only complaint was that we stood at the spa reception desk for a while whilst the staff finished their chat and even though they saw us they didn’t stop to ask if we needed any help ..we did we needed towels! The sauna and steam were good but they had a bit of a stale aroma. The pool itself was a good size for a swim and a pleasant temperature. There was a good choice at breakfast. The traditional breakfast items were of good quality and was self serve. You could also have alternatives like eggs Benedict made to order. The Danish Pastries were full sized ones! I would definitely stay again.
