If you stay here, be sure to get building 1 where the check-in office is located. Here is the good & the bad. When I first checked in, they gave me a room in building 2. The front door had speckled rust spots on it. When entering, there was a strong smell of food like really bad Indian food. The microwave was disgusting inside. The room was very small & dark. You can tell that the A/C must have just been turned on as it was still very warm in the room. Went to the restroom after the long trip. It was EXTREMELY small. I couldn't close the door if sitting on the toilet. Had to step into the shower to close the door. Went to look at the beds. The pillows had some dried up food on them & didn't look like they had been changed. When I pulled back the covers, there were dark stains on the sheets. Immediately went back to check-in & had manager come over. He told me it had just been cleaned that morning & thought it was okay.He was extremely apologetic & put me in a room just a couple rooms down the hall from the check-in. What a HUGE difference. This room had newer furnishings & decor. MUCH better lighting & you could tell it had recently been cleaned. The carpeting was a little outdated, but at least it looked as if the room had been cleaned regularly. The cleaning staff I met weren't the most friendly or helpful as they eyeballed you all the time even though I tipped them well each day even though I only had gotten one additional towel & washcloth since I was staying 4 nights & I only had 3 towels.
Old motel poorly remodeled. Terrible carpeting, worn out blanket, noisy air conditioner, ill fitting exterior door, bathroom door would not close because it does not fit into frame, paint spattered from ceiling onto walls, crappy breakfast.
It flooded while I was taking a shower because the shower curtain was hanging outside of the shower area. The water seeped into the bathroom floor by the time the room service to clean, so they won't know what happens when the customer takes a shower. I had to push the shower curtain rod in and down to prevent the flood all over the bathroom floor next time I took a shower. It's not very smart way to cut the cost by not having a bath tub because the seeping water will cause the mold in the long run and damage the painting on the ceiling assuming the water from the upstairs seep into their floors. I don't understand why the manager or owner doesn't think about having longer shower curtain or add lower partition or something. One nighttime attendant was not so nice when I asked him something. His sigh was so loud. I had to ask the front lady to move a smoking pod (?) to somewhere else because it was placed right next to the AC unit outside of my room. I was wondering why my room smell smoking all the time. The lady was nice to do the job. The stay wasn't bad. You get what you pay for.
Girl at front desk was most helpful in making it a smooth check-in and the room was very clean..it was a pleasure to stay there.
The room was smelly with dirty carpets and the bathroom ceiling must have been leaking because there was a huge section that had spackle glopped on with moldy water runs down the wall. The continental breakfast was a joke so don't count on getting breakfast there unless you want toast. The staff was nice though. The beds were comfy so that was a plus and there were no bugs!
My wife and I, our children it was terrible, they are rude and disrespectful, we pay for our stay, house keeping is very rude and disrespectful, keep staring in me and my wife's face. Also they keep pulling me up about some dirty towels, my wife caught an infection from those filthy towels, also our lawyer is already on it, we're tired of being disrespected, also not to mention bed bugs, and more of the disrespect, we have already sued other motels, this one is next.
The lobby was simple and inviting. The rooms were clean, smoke free and the environment was quiet.
The rooms and public areas were spotless. Beds comfortable, and nice breakfast. I enjoyed talking with the Manager Uyesh in the morning, and the gentleman who checked us in the night before was very pleasant and friendly. After 12 hours of driving it was a very nice place to stop. We usually do not stay at days Inns as we have had very bad luck in the past with this chain, BUT lucked out this time. We will definitely be back as that area is a good stop for us
I stayed 109 nights. That statement should tell everyone about the quality of the service I received, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of my room. Every thing you need is nearby, somethings in walking distance. If you stay in Aberdeen MD.,stay here. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Poor service. "Non-smoking" room reeked. Couldn't even sleep due to air quality. Hair and trash all over floor. Out-dated. Tiny bathroom. Rotten fruit on breakfast spread. Parking was horrible. Move on, please!
