Quiet North Pole Stay near Santa and FAI with Arctic Spa

Quiet North Pole Stay with Arctic Spa

Experience winter in North Pole, Alaska — with Northern Lights always visible right from the property, Christmas lights glowing outside, and your own Arctic Spa waiting on the porch.

THIS IS A HOST-OCCUPIED HOME - NOT AN ENTIRE -HOME RENTAL
You are booking one or two private guest bedrooms and a private guest bathroom inside our home. The kitchen, living room and other common areas are shared when hosts are present.

The Red Door Residence is an owner-occupied homestay offering two private queen bedrooms and a private guest bathroom upstairs. We host only one travel party at a time, so you will never share your stay with another guest booking and you also do not share your bathroom with the hosts!

Your hosts live in the home and are available when you need them, while guests have their own private bedrooms and bathroom and full use of the shared living, dining and kitchen areas.

Your winter stay:
After a day exploring Alaska, warm up in the Arctic Spa, relax in the living room, your bedroom or step outside and watch the sky for the Aurora Borealis. Upon request your hosts will light a campfire to keep you warm while watching the Aurora or prepare the Arctic Spa for you to enjoy.

The property offers:
• Two private queen bedrooms
• Private guest bathroom
• Laundry (free use of washer and dryer uo to 3 loads per stay)
• Optional private Arctic Spa access - 75$ per stay
• Northern Lights viewing from the property / arctic spa
• Christmas and winter lighting
• Fast Wi-Fi and Smart TVs
• Fully equipped kitchen and shared living areas
• Private backyard and patio
• On-site parking
• Smart locks and lighting

The setting is quiet and residential, with Alaska wildlife regularly passing through — including moose, eagles, ptarmigans and foxes.

Close to North Pole & Fairbanks
Santa Claus House is only about 3 minutes away, and Fairbanks is approximately 15 minutes by car. The location makes it easy to combine Christmas in North Pole, Aurora hunting, Fairbanks activities and winter adventures.

A different kind of Alaska stay
This is not a hotel and not a private vacation house. It is a personal, owner-occupied Alaskan homestay, designed for guests who appreciate a comfortable place to stay, local knowledge and a safe, quiet home base with all comfort for their Alaska adventure.

Come for the Aurora. - Stay for the Arctic Spa, the Christmas atmosphere and the feeling of being welcomed into a real Alaskan home.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board. Change of towels is available on request.

Although we thought we were going to be in the house by ourselves instead of a shared living situation, everything was great! The host was very accommodating- the house was very clean- we had everything we needed! I suggest Expedia or vrbo change the description to specifically say “ shared living”.
Arrived to a beautiful snow covered house!

Sincere appreciation and excellent hospitality provided by Our hosts Richard, Patricia and Raphael Thompson. We were 2 disabled individuals who were completely supported various activities within the North Pole and Fairbanks area. We were treated like family members and any situation that arose was effectively taken care of immediately.

Very clean. Quiet from outside noise, but inside, the floors-2 stories- were very squeaky.Beware the wording in the listing: “2 private rooms.” This rental is a shared living space with 2 men.
