Great design and convenient location. Only watch out is the water drain is slow and water reservoir can be uncomfortable for guest. maybe put a sign for “slow drain” can help guests to adapt the water flow.

Our stay here was wonderful! We had the privilege to visit Beijing in June of 2026 and stay at this boutique hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance (less than 1/2 a mile) from a metro entrance and centrally located on a market street. The staff was very kind and extremely attentive to our needs. We utilized their free laundry service as well as free breakfast, tea time, and cold beverages. Each day, the staff greeted us, and asked if we needed food, drinks, etc. The room we selected had a cozy, private balcony as well as high powered AC which was much appreciated in the middle of summer and a king sized bed. The room was clean and tidy and the facility was well kept. Upon our departure, the staff helped us call a Didi and walked us to the pick up location. Then, presented us with a parting gift, a tea set.

Highly recommend to all who want to experience Beijing Hutong living, very homey feel, the property is artistically designed and immaculately maintained , the tea serving ritual is a must to experience… and the traditional Beijing snacks (fried sauce noodles, wonton soup, tea cakes) are so yummy that my kids said they are the best food they have tried Beijing.

Nice hotel, very spacious room, a small rooftop pool and extremely friendly staff. We really got all the help we needed from them and they were very kind the whole stay. Would highly recommend staying here.
